St. Johns Golf Club

Just a bit slow due to the holiday today. Took and hour+ more than usual to play 18 holes. Great staff and a fun course to play.

Course layout is really great, however the overall condition is questionable. Upon returning the cart we encountered an employee who thought it was ok to raise his voice at the customers.. we could hear him yelling from the 18th green and it continued to us when we got to the building. Personally that's a huge turn off, along with the fact that they do not have a good and beverage department. You can't always control the course condition or pace of play but you should have full control of how you treat your customers.

Took a friend from Wyoming to World Golf Village and the King and the Bear ($166). The next day we play St Johns ($37). He enjoyed St Johns so much more!

I like this course but the greens were not only uneven but completely void of any grass in many spots. Ball doesn't roll true as there were too many bare patches causing the putt to jump, not roll. I understand this a "muni" course but these greens just need a lot more care.

Over the years we have played this course dozens of times and enjoyed playing there. Today was disappointing. The greens were inconsistent and the bunkers were shallow.

The course was in good condition considering it is the middle of winter here. Played the senior tees but would have enjoyed a blend of the whites and green as the green tees were too short. Overseeding was absent and the fairways were very short with tight lies. Overall, a very enjoyable round with many challenging shots.

The course is in great shape for this time of year!

There was 4 groups backed up on every shot on the back 9.....no ranger but plenty of staff in Club house....

The course is a open fun design. But the course condition was terrible!!

enjoyable round, nice course, slow pace of play only because it easily could have been faster. only took 4 hours, but could have been a lot better

Very average muni, greens very sparse and inconsistent. The front approach to greens were so wet your ball would just plug. The course was just muddy in too many areas. Seen it in much better shape then today.

Wish it would not have been so wet from all the recent rain, but that aside great track with plenty of challenges. Like the layout not the same on every hole. We played with two other locals who were very nice and fun to play with.

Would love to play again when it is not so wet. Course otherwise was in nice condition.

Above average golf course for a public golf course. Nice layout.

Worst, nasty, horrible staff. They were the most unwelcoming staff I have ever experienced. We have played this course several times in the past and it was a great experience. Not anymore. The lady in the pro shop was annoyed we were their - mean and nasty. The starter thought he was a bouncer at studio 54. “That’s how we do it here”. I will never set foot on that golf club again. Too bad it was nice in the past.

This course has really improved their golf experience! The course was SOAKED, but still played pretty well. The greens were a bit slow but very consistent. The layout itself is just great, a lot of fun, interesting to play.

Not real tight but fair. Range is pretty good, people are great and what a value. If you live in south St Auggie and want a fun, economical, easy to get to course, play this one.
