Sabal/Grand at Grand Palms Golf & Country Club
About
Located in Pembroke Pines, picturesque Grand Palms Golf & Country Club offers three nines: Royal, Sabal and Grand. The nine-hole courses are playable in three combos, with the Sabal/Grand coming in at a 6,682 yards. Of the three, Sabal/Grand is the most helter skelter, combining the shortest and longest nines. The Grand is a tight golf course that offers a challenge for most, what with its raised greens, narrow fairways and challenging water holes. Sabal, by contrast, is a resort-style play, with a gentler game featuring generous fairways and greens.

Save your money!
The last time I played this course was five months ago and oh my God it’s a tale of two courses. It should be an automatic to put on any green that you’re on. You need a four-wheel-drive on your golf ball to manage the greens. Also, the fairways are not in great shape. Lost four balls in the middle of a fairway. Would love to get my money back but honestly don’t have the time to make the call. Plus everybody that works there was 20 years or younger. Not their fault didn’t want to put them through the grief.
Worse course EVER
The greens might as well be the bunker. Literally worse course I have EVER played at. It’s challenging and extremely poor conditions …. Horrible combo. Don’t bother
Green were in terrible condition is not worthy for the money you pay to play.
Don’t go theren
Worst conditions in the entire miami and Broward. Do your Lesly a favor and don’t go there until they spend some money on it.
The worst conditions ever seen
This course is part of the So. Fla. Premier Card.
They should consider removing it from their list of other worthy courses.
The condition of the greens were horrible. Actually unplayable.
It wouldn’t have been so bad if they had given us a “ heads up” when I booked (for 16 players), or when we checked in, or if the starter had said something, but they didn’t.
An advance warning would have gone a long way towards customer service, but obviously they don’t know what that means.
It will take months for this course to become playable again. The low cost didn’t equal the condition which made this the worst replaying conditions I’ve ever experienced.
DO NOT PLAY HERE!
Garbage
One of the worst golf course I have played in a long time. The Cross Bronx Expressway is smoother than the greens here: full of weeds, disease, and bare spots. Garbage strewn throughout the roughs and ponds. The only thing "Grand" about this place is the disappointment.
The worst
I've played this course several times in the past, but have not played here for a while.
Of the three (9 hole) courses, one was closed and the other two have the worst greens I have ever experienced. The course is in horrible condition. I have no idea what happened, but don't bother booking this one.
Too bad they are letting this course go to Sh.....
This Golf Course has an amazing layout. Too bad they are not maintaining the golf course. The greens are horrible and it seems management is doing every effort to kill this golf course. I would not even pay 10 bucks to play this course. I used to like the course, but it seems that the course is heading the same direction as the Resort is (a sh... Hole). :-(
The greens are in terrible condition.
The greens have bear spots everywhere. Very bumpy.
Course Conditions Terrible with Thieves Roaming the Course
I have played this course numerous times being a South Florida Resident and I have never seen the course conditions this bad. I mean Im not sure how you can justify charging someone to play on the course the way it is. Greens were all dead and looked like Leopard Spots on all of them. The fairways were a little better then the greens but not much more. The tee boxes were rough and looked similar to the greens. You would think the Pro Shop would inform the customers about the course conditions before sending them out but not even a heads up or why the course was in the shape it was. To top off the day, on the last hole i dropped my head cover in the middle of the fairway and realized it when we were up at the green. As we were getting ready to head back to retrieve it, a random person in what looked like a member or custom golf cart zoomed by us going in the opposite direction and scooped up my head cover and took off. We chased him for 2 holes screaming, whistling and yelling at him to stop he never did. With no luck of him stopping, he made a sharp turn onto the Public Road and darted off the course and was gone. I am so disappointed in the course and more so at the fact that the course allows Thieves to roam around and steal peoples belongings. Unless something drastically changes to this course, this will be the last time i ever play Grand Palms.
Course needs to be close for a year
I’ve been playing golf for the last 25 years and this is the worst condition course I’ve ever played. The conditions were horrible. It has 27 holes in every single green with damaged of course needs to be shut down for a year for repairs.
