About

Type Resort
Par 71
Length 6682 yards
Slope 141
Rating 72.6

Located in Pembroke Pines, picturesque Grand Palms Golf & Country Club offers three nines: Royal, Sabal and Grand. The nine-hole courses are playable in three combos, with the Sabal/Grand coming in at a 6,682 yards. Of the three, Sabal/Grand is the most helter skelter, combining the shortest and longest nines. The Grand is a tight golf course that offers a challenge for most, what with its raised greens, narrow fairways and challenging water holes. Sabal, by contrast, is a resort-style play, with a gentler game featuring generous fairways and greens.

Really bad course

Not going to play here again. Terrible condition, can’t even putt on the greens. Course has potential but is in such bad condition they shouldn’t even have it open.

Greens look like tee boxes,

Between people using the course as a walking path, to people stealing your ball from their back yard, the worst part was the greens! They’re all torn up. They’re 80% weeds, 10% dirt. This facility in general hasn’t seen an update in 30+ years, I’d leave zero stars of I could.

The greens looked like Swiss cheese

I have played this course many times over the years , it use to be my favorite. However, I haven’t play there in a while . I was shocked to see all the early morning tee times available and I found out why. The greens were horrendous, putting was pointless .

Course is currently unplayable on greens

This is sad. I have lived in South Florida for 33 years. This was the first course I ever played and it was love at first sight. Over the years it added a very nice nine and was my go to course. Until this year. For whatever reason they have let it go to pot. I do not need perfect fairways and tee boxes. But I do need greens you can putt on. Their greens are currently unplayable. There are huge dirt patches, and smaller ones all over the greens. Cutting and rolling them is out of the question. Your ball looks like a ping pong ball going to the hole. They need to close the course and redid every single green. Not one is in playable shape.

Bad greens

Greens are in terrible condition. Putting through pot holes. It’s a shame because the fairways are nice and I enjoy the course, but the greens are really bad right now.

Save your money!

The last time I played this course was five months ago and oh my God it’s a tale of two courses. It should be an automatic to put on any green that you’re on. You need a four-wheel-drive on your golf ball to manage the greens. Also, the fairways are not in great shape. Lost four balls in the middle of a fairway. Would love to get my money back but honestly don’t have the time to make the call. Plus everybody that works there was 20 years or younger. Not their fault didn’t want to put them through the grief.

The worst conditions ever seen

This course is part of the So. Fla. Premier Card.

They should consider removing it from their list of other worthy courses.

The condition of the greens were horrible. Actually unplayable.

It wouldn’t have been so bad if they had given us a “ heads up” when I booked (for 16 players), or when we checked in, or if the starter had said something, but they didn’t.

An advance warning would have gone a long way towards customer service, but obviously they don’t know what that means.

It will take months for this course to become playable again. The low cost didn’t equal the condition which made this the worst replaying conditions I’ve ever experienced.

DO NOT PLAY HERE!

Garbage

One of the worst golf course I have played in a long time. The Cross Bronx Expressway is smoother than the greens here: full of weeds, disease, and bare spots. Garbage strewn throughout the roughs and ponds. The only thing "Grand" about this place is the disappointment.
