Lightning Round

Lakewood is a great local course. The greens have been sanded again recently and still need a few weeks to be in great shape. We managed to finish round in 4 hours which is excellent time for this course. Only two criticisms is that they need to put some fresh sand into the greenside bunkers and they need a beverage cart to keep us hydrated or fed with some snacks.

Got a hot deal two days before. Which is unheard of right now. Course was in above average shape. Looked like they had punched not too long ago but the greens were healing and rolling decent enough.

Fun and challenging close. Can’t beat the hot deal value for less than $40 on a Friday!

Great course and amazing layout. Only issues I had during this round was that the pace of play was extremely slow and the greens were just recently punched and we were never notified of this.

Other than the slow pace and punched greens, I would definitely recommend this course and I will be back when the greens are better. This course has a great layout and very nice fairways

Good times, crappy conditions

In the future, GolfNow should notify its users if there's going to be an aeration. We showed up yesterday excited for a fun day of golf only to find out they had punched and sanded the greens the morning earlier. Bare minimum, a discount should've been given. The course was in decent shape but could certainly use some improvements. I will definitely be back, but I will use the golf courses website directly to book because they notify you of any aeration or any adnormal conditions
