Wet but fun

Cold wet day and played as a single. Pro shop and starter let me go off early. Great course even with the conditions. Pace of play was great and greens fast. Cool layout and views were great. Back nine felt like I was playing in Jurassic Park with the rain clouds over the hills. Great value for money with my hot deal

Slow play

They set tee time 8 mins apart which slows down the play.

Great if you have all day.

3+ hours to play 9 holes is ridiculous. Too many people allowed on the course.

Desperately slow play

5.75 hours for a round is far too slow. No marshall was speeding things up.

We could see complete beginners duffing shots off the black/pro tees and unable to get the ball to the furthest forward tees.

Maybe you should have a handicap of less than 30 to be allowed onto this challenging course?

Nice Facility

The course is challenging from tee to green because if narrow fairways and many blind shots. Pace was slow and the fairways in ok shape. Nice restaurant and driving range. Carts are great!

Fairways/Pace of Play $$$

The views were spectacular and the layout very challenging those two things I appreciate. But for the green fees to be over $100 for fairways that are not maintained is extremely disappointing. On top of that, I had no idea that I was going to spend six hours playing 18 holes on a Sunday! I do not know how far apart they are booking teetimes but something has to be done. There’s no way that it should take six hours to play a round. I live in the Murrieta/Temecula and met a family member halfway to enjoy ourselves unfortunately we were exhausted after 12 holes because of the back up. Some holes were backed up by three groups. The Marshall did come out to try to take care of things, but it didn’t work.

Good if you have all day!

Beautiful course but the pace of play is atrocious! Tee time was at 2:42 and because of the number of people let on the course it took until after 6PM (after sunset) to play 9 holes! Great if no one is there, otherwise avoid unless you have all day to play!

Pace of play.

Staff were nice, but they obviously overbooked the course. Pace of play was ridiculous. It took more than three hours to play the front nine.

Eagle Glen

The course is beautiful and the fairways and greens were in great shape. The pace of play was very slow. It took 2 hours to play the first 5 holes. It did pick up some after that but was still a 5 hour 30 minute round. Practice "chipping" area is not worth using. I did love the course and will play it again, hopefully at a faster pace of play.

This course is definitely not worth the $137 fee they are charging. Several fairways had patched grass, sand traps overgrown with grass and lacked sand. We were a twosome and there were two twosomes in front of us that were slow and playing from the tips which slowed us down. They need to decrease this rate. Not a course in Palm Springs.
