Poor excuse for pace of play

Just because there was men’s club play against another club does NOT mean there should be extra poor pace of play; just let the rest of us know who payed top price to play here too (to avoid); OVER 1.5 hours to play 4 holes and OVER 3 hours to play 9; did not finish 18 due to darkness (started at 11:30); 3 groups waiting in first par 3; 5 groups waiting on the next 2nd par 5; marshals DID NOTHING; conditions very poor/fairways patchwork with dead brown grass not dormant (does not look good coming spring); would not recommend this course!

Long delays, no sand in bunkers, fairways in poor concision.

At one point on the first par 5 we had 4 groups of 4 and 16 players on one hole. Never experienced anything like this.

Fairways had chunks missing on many holes.

Conditions where bone dry and there was zero sand in any of the bunkers.

Greens were quick and solid condition. Views are amazing. Course layout was good.

Mountain goat track

very hilly; quite quick greens. not perfect fairways but playable. hard to get “a dog at the turn,” as cafe is a far ride from 9th green or even 10th. lots of elevation changes! cool views. no sign of the fires.

Extremely Slow Pace of Play

This is the slowest round of golf that I've ever played in, it took a little over 5-1/2 hours to complete the round, 3 hours for the front 9. I was part of a five-some (first time playing with 4 other people in a group) and we were still faster than group(s) in front of us, 8 minutes between tee time is not appropriate for this course.

Late start + 6 hour round

Our tee time was 11:06 but the marshal told us there was a members tournament going on - so we had to wait for the rest of the groups to tee off. Didn’t start until 11:20. We didn’t finish until 6pm. There weren’t any disclaimers about the tourney when I booked the round

Too slow

Everything was OK EXCEPT a playing time. My tee-off time was 12:02PM but it delayed about 25 minutes and the worst is that It took 3 hours front 9 and I couldn't finish the 18th hole because it was too dark. Regarding the course condition, the green is the best among others.

Awful pace of play.

I was booked to start my round of golf at 11:28. Prior to starting an employee stated the owner of the course scheduled a players club tournament starting at 9am. This caused a severe back up because not only was a tournament going but they kept the overlapping Tee times. Additionally, the started was complaining the owners of the course changed tee time intervals from 10 minutes to 8 minutes to make more money. It took 1.5 hours to make it through three holes. The marshal came by and said we’d be lucky to finish 18 holes before it got dark and they changed the tournament and tee times to make more money. In total 18 holes took us 6.5 hours to finish. The course was in terrible condition. I absolutely would not play at this golf course again.

Mediocre at best, terrible pace of play

I’ve played eagle Glen at least 5 times if not more. I’ve never had quite this sort of experience. 12:02pm tee time, four groups stacked ahead of us, and teed off almost at 12:30. After only 5 holes, we were 2 hrs in. By 5pm, when it was getting dark, we were only on hole 13. We squeezed out two more before it was impossible to see.

Horrible tee time management. No marshal on the course to speed up play. 4-5 hr round is typical for SoCal golf. 6 hrs just shows the course doesn’t care and only wants to maximize profit.

Additionally, fairways are all yellow and tee boxes aren’t level.

EG used to be a great Corona course, but it has become one I won’t miss if I never go back.

Extremely slow golf

Save your time and money. Played 12 holes in 4+ hours on a Friday before it got dark. 2 groups waiting every hole. No marshal. Golfers not teeing it up from the correct tee boxes based on skill level. The greens are too fast for most amateur golfers which just increased the time it took on an already narrow track. Cart path only and if you’re hungry the course never comes back around to the clubhouse until after all 18 holes, so eat beforehand. If you want to have a good time golfing I’d look elsewhere.

Played there as well yesterday. Took us 3 hours to play the front 9. The course is in pretty rough shape. This course is not for anyone below a 5 handicap to be honest. The course unfortunately was full of people who spray the ball all 18 holes and look for every single errant shot.

Good course slow play

Personally I like to play this course.

Even though it is a holiday, they allowed 5 some front of us. We had to wait every hole until 18.

It took 5 hours and 20 minutes.

We really like this course, however it was very difficult to keep pace play with a sixsome in front of us. The round took 5 hours and the last hole we waited for about 20 minutes before we were able to hit our second shot.
