Eagle Glen Golf Club

All white tees were at women's length. Back Nine was water soaked. Puddles in bunkers etc. No notice given for course conditions prior to purchase online.

I like Eagle Glen a lot, but the rock-hard bunkers, of which there are quite a few, and the concrete paths breaking up in many places, plus the badly-'bobbled' greens urgently in need of rolling and better cutting - made this round unpleasant at times. Many tees are currently being re-grassed, thus un-useable.

Putting was mostly a joke on the poor-quality surfaces. Hole 4 tee area and paths are being reconstructed - please hurry up and finish that.

Eagle Glen has recently been in much better condition than at present - and urgently needs to improve to the high standards it is capable of.

Review: Bunker is wet and hard. Fairway is good condition. Not recommended to walk due to hilly course layout in front 9 holes. Back 9 holes is link course style (but not much wind when I played). Restrooms are close on golf course. Club house is very nice clean and luxury. Green at hole 9 is far away from club house so be prepare to not take a break at club house. The most challenge hole is 16th, to hit from blue/Black tee across the creek to narrow fairway up hill on right side.

Overall: A challenging course with a mix of hilly and links-style layouts. The conditions were good, with well-maintained fairways, but the bunkers were a bit challenging. The clubhouse was impressive, but be prepared for a longer walk to the green on hole 9. The 16th hole was particularly challenging, requiring a precise shot across a creek to a narrow uphill fairway.

My friend recommended this course but I was shocked and need improvement.

Greens recently aerated and a bit spongey and slow. They have done a lot of destructive construction on fairways around bunkers. Huge holes that it doesn't seem like there in a hurry to fix. Its sad the condition compared to just a month ago. Literally huger large holes in fairways.

Maybe the sprinklers got big problems fairway was so wet can not hit the ball.

The course attracts a new breed of disrespectful new golfers who think because they own clubs they say and do whatever they want on the course, even if it mean endangering other golfers. They have no etiquette whatsoever and when the club staff was alerted on numerous occasions they finally got the bums to back off. I dont recommend this course to anyone looking for a solid round with the lack of control of there clientele. I good round spoiled. This place has raised there rates over the years and will soon suffer.

This golf course should not be allowed to be open. I paid $100 for a Saturday morning tee time and while the clubhouse and the parking lot were very nice, the rest of the course is an absolute abomination. The VERY talkative starter failed to mention that none of the tee boxes are in use as they are all closed and are under repair. And by all, I mean all. He did mention to us that the greens were just punched, and it appeared that they had been punched the day before we got there. No discounts offered? The four of us are decent golfers and the round took us six hours as the foursome in front of us had absolutely no idea what they were doing. They must have been 4 holes behind. The Marshall came and talked to us twice and informed us that while he would love to have told them to skip a hole or two, the management would not allow him to do so. He was not even allowed to ask him to pick up their ball and go to the next box. There is water everywhere on the fairways and massive areas on multiple holes where the grass has literally been dug up. It’s an absolute debacle. I will never be back.

Pace of play was slow. However the views were breathtaking. Weather was perfect and golf was even better. Had a blast! Definitely would play again if given the chance.

Saw that the midday rate was lower then normal and realized that there was an areation warning on the tee time. Im working out a swing issue and the greens being a sand trap didnt bother me. The last time that I played this course was over 10 years ago, I remember the course being interesting and fun. It didnt disappoint at all, the course is under major repair but was still a great time. Visually and Feel this is a comeback course for sure.

It is under major repair on the tee boxes, which combined the tips and the blues, and the red and whites. Some of the fairways were under repair but didnt effect common landing areas and they were clearly marked. Some of the sandtraps havent been redone so it was like hitting of a mat not out of sand.

The course took a beating with the last couple of years with the rains and flood waters. The staff is doing an amazing job and the repairs didnt effect my game enough to not come back.
