LPGA International - Jones Course

As always the Jones course was in great condition. Only complaint would be no prior warning of golf now of the punched and sanded greens.

Everything about this course was excellent except tee time spacing of 8 minutes. It took 4 1/2 hours to complete with a 1pm tee time on a Wednesday.

Great course, my wife and I loved every hole. Down side was It took us 1/2 hour to get two beers at the turn at the clubhouse .

Been playing this course for years when I come down to visit.

*Fairways and Greens good

*Bunkers absolutely horrible. Just like the other reviews. they do not rack bunkers in morning. hard and some had water in them. not sure why they did not rack in morning

*No starter on first hole and it was a joke when driving up to tee box and multiple carts. Luckily pace of play was good.

*Rained after 9. Clubhouse said we could play at own risk but then a worker on course said we could not play do to lighting in the area.

overall this course has gone down hill with the maintenance over the years. For being the LPGA Headquarters you would think this course would be kept in better shape.

Will play again only if price is below $60. Not worth anymore.

There are better courses for the money. Pulled up to the first tee box and there were 3 groups in front of us waiting to tee off. Never have seen that before. It spaced out a bit but still took 5 hours to finish. Sands were not sands basically cement. Carts were old and dingy. I did like the course layout. For the money, i would go to King and Bear and Slammer and Squire.

I had high expectations for this course. The layout was great but the bunkers were flooded as well as the fairways. No GPS on the on the carts made it a long day since the sprinkler heads had no yardage stickers on them. Value for the dollar was just not there.

Multiple times there were 4 groups (each was a foursome) playing the same hole. Once was even on a par 3. Pace of play was a challenge the entire round and there was no Marshall on the course. The bunkers do not match the quality of the rest of the course. They are packed down and very inconsistent. The rest of the course is in great shape

They gave me an old cart, charging port did not work halfway thru my round, my phone lost power, had to pay for range balls, at those rates they should be included like the better courses, will not be back

Course in very good condition considering the recent weather

I’ve written a couple of reviews on this golfing facility since our visit in March 2022. The service room received over a year ago was absolutely horrible and the attitude of the employees we interacted with we’re very non-consumer friendly. I am happy to say that after our experience this year, what a great improvement and what a wonderful day we had playing 27 holes on the Jones course at the LPGA complex. From the time we walked into the pro shop until when we left after our day of golf, we thoroughly enjoyed every interaction we had with the pro shop, the starter, the rangers in the beverage cart person, especially the friendly lady working the halfway house. We will gladly be back again next year because we felt as though we were valued customers. The course was in great shape. The greens were a little sandy, but totally puttable and the layout on the Jones course was much more to our liking. I commend the general manager for the improvements that were made to the entire staff and I commend the green superintendent for very nice golfing conditions. Can’t wait to come back next year!!! It was nice to see that after so many negative comments about the customer service at the facility, they made the necessary improvements…….THANK YOU, a job WELL DONE!
