Non responsive Staff
Arrived at the bag drop to see three young course attendants chatting with college golfers. Put the car in park, opened the trunk, pulled our clubs out. None of them came to help; asked where we should put the clubs.. “anywhere you want” was the answer. We Lugged them over to a wooden rack. Went into the club house and confirmed our tee time. Asked the guy what cart we should put them on.. “anyone you can find” he said. Bought a large bucket of balls. Went back outside to see the attendants milling around.. Asked for a cart. They said none were available.. granted they had a college golf event/practice round with a hundred some so young golfers. So we shlepped our clubs through the parking lot to the driving range, where there were very few spots available to hit balls. We hit a few shots, couldn’t chip or putt as the college golfers gathered n groups on the green to rotate practice putts. Shipped our bags back to the bag drop off 15 minutes before our tee times to find no carts still available. Asked the attendant what we should do…. He said “ grab the next cart”. With none in view.. I walked back to the parking lot which was overpacked, and found an empty cart.. drove back to the bag drop, slung the clubs on, drove to the first tee and we were on deck to tee off. Grouped up with two singles to make our 4-some. Course was in very good shape. Bunkers were horrid. And there are a lot of bunkers.. No rakes in most of the bunkers.. So if you landed in one, chances were you would be in a footprint. Finally when we found a rake, we decided to keep it with us as a4-some to share. Through 9 holes, the bunkers were so bad, we would lift, rake, and place; rake our steps abd a couple others.. I believe either the course didn’t have enough rakes, or the college players didn’t give a darn. This was our second trip to this course from two years ago.. We will not be back…
Bunker Protocol?
LPGA International is best facility in the area in my opinion. We look forward to playing it whenever we visit. However, I do not understand why they do not have rakes in most of the bunkers. Even those that have rakes nearby are seldom maintained during play. You can count on being in a footprint or divot. I know bunker maintenance suffered during the pandemic, but that excuse is now passed. Every other aspect of this facility is first class.

Great course. Condition of course was excellent. Play was very slow
Jones course
Happened to play on a very windy day. Even without wind course seemed long. Sand was predictable on most every hole. Course was in very good condition. I just wouldn’t return.
Poor experience
Course was over booked. Large group playing scramble caused at least 1 hour delay. Finally switched from jones to hills course to get on asap. Reaching second hole we were being held up by a six sum. Phone calls to the club house, took another 8 holes where the ranger finally had the group split 4 & 2. Very poor management of the course policy and disregard for other players. Rangers need training and support from clubhouse management.
Jones -- slow
A 5 hour round after waiting a half hour to start. Not the way to run starting times and GPS kept shutting us down. Not much fun
Overbooked!
It was my birthday and I was excited to finally play LPGA. My husband and I were placed behind a bachelor party of 12. After 9 holes, we drove past the group to the 16 hole where our golf cart died. Pro shop quickly sent a new cart out, but we decided to call it quits.
Poor management
We waited 45 minutes past our tee time because there were no carts. Once we got one, it died on the first hole!
Just about worth the wait
The course is fine. A few of the tee boxes need some help, but overall conditioning was good. Biggest problem here was the 50 minute delay to our start time due to a lack of carts. Not what you’d expect from a so called high end club. Staff were friendly. Corse is well worth playing when the sun is coming up, not going down!!
Bunker conditions
I had a good time playing the Jones Course. I was surprised; however, that most of the sand traps had no rakes to clean up after your shot. I guess I am not used to that. The few bunkers that did have rakes, the rakes themselves were pretty old and in bad shape. So, the bunkers were full of footprints, ect. Still, I was glad we played it, and we were paired up with a member. He was great, and helped us a lot with advice.
Pace of play
Our start was delayed 20 minutes and then we waited on each hole. At times, 2 foursomes waiting on the hole. We finished, but barely before dark. Other than pace of play, it was a nice experience. The back nine was beautiful.
Golf carts
This course needs to add more carts. Golfers waiting at bag drop for carts delaying tee times.
Thunderbirds Air Show
Great day to golf during the Daytona 500. Not crowded so pace was great, plus free air show from The Thunderbirds. Course in fine shape. Will be back soon.
Excellence
From the moment I arrived this was an exceptional experience.
Tyler who was running the show up front was friendly and knowledgeable. The staff inside was eager to help, and the Marshal was hilarious, I was a single paired up with a couple from Michigan and they were a hoot. The conditions were excellent, not a bad lie on the course.
I recommend this 10/10 for anyone who is looking for an exceptional course at a nice value after 2;00pm. I started at 2:22, and my other two playing partners dropped off at the back 9, around 4:20, and then I played as a single until the 18th hole. I finished up just as the horn sounded.
I shot a 91, and had a great time doing it.
Play this course you won’t regret it.
