LPGA International - Jones Course

The LPGA courses are some of my favorites in the area… if it hasn’t been raining. Unfortunately, the drainage here is quite awful, and the staff leaves it up to the cart monitors to advise players that it’s cart path only. Additionally, the pace of play can be problematic, as the marshal rarely takes action.

While I don’t want to focus solely on the negatives—both courses truly are among my favorites in the area—I would consider a membership here. However, the drainage issues make it nearly impossible to play during the summer. I recommend avoiding the courses if it has rained in the past few days.

The pace of play was slow. We played as a twosome and were 16 minutes ahead of pace after 8 holes. Then we finally caught up with the group ahead of us and the pace bogged down. By the end of the round we were behind pace. No sign of a ranger/marshall until we were on the 17th hole.

The course was soggy even though there hadn’t been much rain recently. Several holes were cart path only, not just the par 3’s. The bunkers were in bad shape and some looked like they hadn’t been raked for days if not longer.

The Starter was grumpy and wouldn’t allow us to keep our separate golf carts even though we were only a twosome and there seemed to be plenty of carts available.

The course is in very good condition. Fairways and rough are very good condition. Greens are very good but lacked pace! I’d definitely recommend playing LPGA whenever you’re in the area.

Wide fairways. Fast greens. Beautiful lay out. No ranger seen to monitor the group in front of us slowing pace down

Course atmosphere is excellent and layout suburb. Always a pleasure to golf here, just normally pricey.

Course is great , wet but super nice

3 some in front ( older people ) were so slow ….

Then after 9 they left , happy for a moment ….

4 some in front were drunk and zigzagging everywhere

Marchal were passing thru them with a smile doing nothing

A great course with slow play not a great day…

Nice, greens are excellent, not sure it is a hundred dollar course so glad I got the round for 70.00 which seems about right. Why don’t courses put 2- somes together, there were 4 2 somes in front of our 3 some and we waited most holes. Now we still played in 4 hours but pace is important to most of us. Then there was a single behind us, just doesn’t seem like a good business model?? I will be back! Thank you.

LPGA is always a great experience. Awesome staff. Jones was in tremendous shape. Greens rolled true. Beat the snowbirds getting out... we went off early so no pace of play issues. Memorable morning.

I lived on a Jones designed course. Same rolling mounds on sides of fairways. Very good shape today. Sunny, but windy.

Pretty nice course, tricky greens , great shape. Had painful slow play. These folks could hardly walk to and from greens. We had to go around them or it was a 3 hour back nine.

This is a really nice course but you fall victim to extraordinarily slow golfers. Had a tee time with just 1 group head of us who let us by and we were 35 minutes ahead of pace by hole 8 when we caught up to another group. Got trapped what seemed like I-95 traffic on a golf course. At one point, there were 4 groups on a par 5 with us waiting behind. By hole 15 we had lost the 35 minutes and we're now 10 minutes behind pace which means we were essentially moving backwards with the people in front of us playing 20 minute or so holes. We left without completing the course. The staff was great but they either have to space tee times out more to not slow down the groups (seemingly just us) that still have working knees and backs.

LPGA…we were thinking this would be a top tier course, but we were disappointed by the pace of play, condition of the overall course beyond the fairway, and lack of a ranger to maintain pace of play.

This was a wonderful course to play....Great layout, challenging greens, great pace of play. great value for this course.. Would definitely play again.
