Just too slow and heavy play...greens firm and bumpy

Play was almost 6 hours...greens don't hold or putting well. Very very heavy play

Fun Day at LPGA Jones

Having played LPGA Hills course a couple days earlier, this course is a much more forgiving track. Wide fairways and less doglegs make it an enjoyable round where good ball striking will be rewarded with a solid score. Mounding separates many fairways but again, the landing zones are wide enough to be able to avoid them.

Was fortunate to be paired with some friendly golfers who, while each was solid, didn’t take the game too seriously. So we all had a fun day!

Excellent layout. Pace of play poor. Round took 4hr 45 minutes. Waited on group ahead if us on 16 holes. Greens were slower than ever in the past.

Pace of play issues

Course was in good shape overall, played behind a 6some entire 18 holes. Took almost 5 hours to play and starter didn’t seem bothered at all about group that was playing as 6. Finished 30 minutes behind pace, never played a busy course that allowed that many players to play together on a hole.

LPGA Jones

Pace of play was terrible. 4:55 round. Group ahead of us was hitting mulligans and parking carts in front of the green making it difficult to know when to hit tee shots. Kids walking across the course to fish standing in the middle of the 10 th home yelling back at us. No ranger around all day. Greens and fairways were average at best. Not worth the $125 price.

Great course

I have played Hills several times. Jones is nicer and easier. Greens were a bit slow, but still rolled pure.

Jones course

Really nice layout. I am 73 and there are tees to accommodate any age or skill group. Tee boxes were very good, fairways very thin, greens were pretty slow , but for the amount of play pace of play was good, slightly over 4 hours. Carts are good and practice facilities are excellent and staff friendly. Overall 41/2, enjoyable round. Bit pricey but recommend it.

Nice day all around

Was a little backed up due to a 2 hour frost delay.

Good Course

I played this course for the first time and I really enjoyed it. The only problem was I got stuck behind 2 twosomes and they were slow and won’t let anyone around. I never seen a course ranger. But I would play it again.

Good not great

Played the Rees jones course twice over the last month. The layout is fine, the nature around the course is attractive. The main issue is the course always seems to be wet. It hadnt rained for days before either round and the traps and fairways were very wet. Don't know if they over water or what. Basically you get no roll (note this is supposed to be a links style course which should roll) and you have to carry every shot to the full distance of the flag. Greens roll true and otherwise a good experience.
