The Golf Club at Bluewater Bay

We played here 2 years ago but did remember the course conditions being this bad. You cannot fine any grass on the fairways. We actually used a tee after hitting off of sand/dirt for 9 holes. The layout and views are ok but I can say I have never played on a course that had no grass on the fairways. Don’t waste your money.

This will never be a $65 course. I will say that the tee boxes are the best I’ve seen them the last 4 years. The greens were better but bumpy. Fairways weren’t good.

The staff is very friendly but the course needs a lot of attention and investment to make it a quality course. The layout is great.

course was not in good shape. got lost going to 1st tee box. greens were slow but in good shape. played first 9 in under 2 hrs, left after 3 holes on back 9, very slow and had a 5 some in front.

Stripe it down the middle and nothing but sand to hit off of. Very little grass in the fairways. Not dormant grass just very little grass on several fairways.

The course in its own is okay nothing spectacular but a mid mid level community golf course unfortunately is priced at the same level as most of the local courses that it doesn’t really compare too. Pro shop has practically nothing in it and for 65 a round your better off taking your money elsewhere to a nicer course and amenities. If this was priced more in the 25-30 dollar range would be a hidden gem as it is minimally played and you can’t beat the ability to get a full round of 18 in within 3 hours and no real groups to hold you up.

Course layout wasnt bad except for one hole. The fairways were in tough shape. Grass was sparse and hitting off hard sandy surface much of the time. Fees quite reasonable though.

Bermuda fairways completely dormant. Offline shots in trees or water or ob. Greens ok

I’m visiting from Chicago. I found this place. I loved it. It’s golf, in Florida, in December. I’m not picky. Play this course. When you are done, go inside, go to the bar inside and see deer the onion rings. No lie. Incredible.

Marsh course refurbished with rye grass overseeding and is good condition for this time of the year. A bit challenging but a great course to tune up your skills or just a relaxing round of golf. Great views of the Choctawatchee Bay will add to your play as an added benefit!

This place has gone back and forth over the years from fun to flat out robbery. They were bought out by foreign investors who refuse to invest a dime into its upkeep. There’s no driving range, half of the course is constantly closed, and the tee boxes and greens are a joke. Play Rocky Bayou for about the same price or goofy golf down the road is more fun and a better bang for your buck!

In spite of the heat, we played. Bay side was hot and horrible conditions. Didn't matter if you were in the middle of the fairway or on the green - very dry and lousy conditions. 100% TERRIBLE. Marsh side was better but still needs a lot of water and work. I forget what hole it was but they were watering the sand trap and I called the pro shop - who knows if they did anything. I've gotta do a better job with reviews before booking this course again.

Course is a conjoined two 9 hole courses consisting of "Marsh" and "Bay". Golf Carts felt new, but were missing coolers (And you couldn't bring your own). No driving range for warm ups (I think a couple of sim bays in the pro shop building would be perfect for this location). Marsh #1 is very rough (think stiff sand trap with a bit of green thrown in) with the pin missing all together. Bay #1 and #2 are also in very rough shape, but the rest of the course is ok. They did some course change ups which 18Birdies isn't tracking so that really didn't help much keeping score (but I'm a scratch golfer on my 3rd real round so it doesn't matter much to me). Lots of houses to hit so definitely not trying to hit any bombs at the risk of injuring anyone or hitting anything. Would play again just for practice, but no great expectations.
