The Golf Club at Bluewater Bay

We acknowledged that it was our first time at the course and the staff took extra time to make sure that we knew how to get to hole 1 which is sone distance from the clubhouse. Then he brought the cat to our vehicle for us. The course was in good shape for end of winter and we enjoyed the layout. We'll be back next February.

Loved this course. Excellent value and speedy play. Fairways are very good shape and recovering from winter conditions.. Greens are excellent and put well. Don't understand why it doesn't get much more play

The front nine, Bay is a meandering nine holes with greens in average at best condition. . The Marsh is in better condition. Slow greens. Excellent pace of play as we followed a twosom. Bunkers are consistent. Water views on three holes. Enjoyable layout.

Course was good round for the golfnow hot deal rate!! No practice range is not good

Course has been modified due to construction related activities but was well marked and in good shape. Staff is always nice and friendly. Very good value in comparison to all the area courses. Fairways didn’t have nearly as many tight lies as several other courses.

Back 9 beautiful. Front 9 okay. Great play to play at the current rate. Travel between some holes a long distance.

This course was probably very nice at one time. However it apparently has been sold and the new ownership has not taken over and the old one isn’t investing in it.

The course will be great in time. The grass needs to grow

Confusing layout, large distances between holes through various streets and neighborhoods, GPS does not sync with the way the holes are numbered

Fastest greens and groomed bunkers. Nice holes but they merged some holes from the closed 18 so you have some long green to tee drives. The best value I have played played in Destin. There are a number of risk reward tee shots that make you think. Really enjoyed the course

Course under some construction but all holes open. Detours around construction led to a lot of golf cart driving would be impossible to work this course now. Friendly staff, starter reviewed detours which were well marked. Brown fairways typical for season. Greens choppy but ok for season, Tee boxes fine for season, First nine weather perfect back nine drizzlw off and on and no sun. Overall fun round. Offered twosome to play with us on back nine and were friendly visitors from Wisconsin so went well.

Nice course. Some beautiful holes on the water. Greens and tee boxes in very good shape for this time of year. Fairways in decent shape but I am sure they are better later in the year. Only disappointment was at the 19th hole where we went for a beverage after golf, about 3:30, and nobody was working, closed up.

Should’ve made a call before we played the course. This course runs through a residential area, at one time it was four nines, but now it’s only two nines due to the housing that is moving in. There is no restaurant at our clubhouse at all so there was nothing to eat or drink except water. You have to drive forever to get to the course and holes. But however I did kinda like the lay out in the course itself. It’s narrow and water and sand made for a good day of play. The staff was very nice and of course they were apologetic about the restaurant being shut down and the course situation. It’s not their fault they’re just staff. They say that there’s new owners of the golf course and they’re not sure even if the restaurant will be reopened yet but hopefully they will be able to have some future good news. I just need to remember to call ahead before I go to a golf course since I’m playing different courses around the area.
