About
Both the East Course and the West Course at Jacaranda Golf Club are four-star rated by Golf Digest. These challenging golf courses weave across a tropical landscape covered with blue lagoons, tranquil ponds, and swaying palm trees. The West Course is the shorter of the two courses but it is no less challenging. Strategy and skill, rather than length, are the determining factors on this layout. With water hazards to avoid, numerous tricky doglegs, and tight bunkering along the greensides and landing areas, this course is definitely a shot-maker's layout. The raised, sloped greens and undulating, tree-lined fairways will require some careful maneuvering. The outward nine is slightly more forgiving than the demanding inward nine, which features more boldly contoured green complexes. The challenging, yet versatile design of both golf courses has made Jacaranda one of southeast Florida's most popular golfing destinations.

Overpriced / Overrated !!
Played Jacaranda West on Sunday and the course was way overpriced for the conditions of the course in comparison to other in the area. Paid $140 for basically a public course - that looked like it had public traffic. Facilities were dated. I was expecting something much better - especially after I was told over the phone that the course was in great shape. Tee boxes and fairways were pretty beat up. Pace of play was okay. Traps were okay - but had a number of shells and rocks in them.
The West course track was a decent layout - but did have OOB inside the course.
We are sincerely sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your round on Jacaranda's West Golf Course. We are a semi-private facility that does allow public golfers. We are proud to say that we reinvest in the property throughout the year in order to keep the courses in great shape so it's always disappointing when a guest leaves unhappy. We truly hope you'll have an opportunity to return one day soon.
Very playable course
There are enough challenges and tough greens to overcome, very playable for many most golfers..

Great except the greens
My group has always liked playing at J but the greens need work!! I might not be able to convince them to return

Fun course.
Player with my dad who is a high handicapper. We played from different sets of tees but still got in 18 in around 3 hours as a twosome with a threesome in front of us.

This course is great.
Only issue is the out of bounds in the middle of the course on hole 16 is a little goofy!!! The course was in great condition.

Picturesque little course

Teed off at 3 done at 5
We had to scramble for a place to play after a terrible day through airports. We played East Jacaranda last year and were playing East the next day. We were glad to get on West. If you have the choice East is the better course. We played 18 in 2 hours. Awesome pace of play.
We are glad you were able to get in 18 holes of golf after the way your day started. That's an incredible pace of play! Both courses are in great shape and it seems 50% prefer the East and the other 50% prefer the West! Either way, we're glad you enjoy Jacaranda.

Excellent course
For a public access course one of the best in the Ft Lauderdale area. Got to play it on a Hot Deal so really worth the money. Conditions weee really good. Tee boxes and fairways were great. The greens rolled nicely and true. Definitely worth playing if you are in the area. They had the club championship going on so our round was a bit slow but not too bad.

Good course, need better marshalling
Love the course, in great shape. Very slow play and never saw Marshall., Paired me w a 3 some , but saw several 2 some not paired up. Need to get better control of course marshalling as reflects badly on the club

Pleasant experience all-around
Pros
- Pace of play, under 4 hours on a Friday midday
- Courteous, organized staff
- Course condition was decent - tee boxes, fairways and greens were good, bunkers were thin and hard-packed
- Tee boxes for all levels of play
Cons
- Pricey driving range
- No bunker rakes on course, shorties on cart
- Lots of player damage - eg. divots, ball marks - starter should counsel players prior to tee-off. Should also recommend appropriate tee boxes
Thank you for taking the time to post such a thorough review. We sincerely appreciate the feedback. We do try to request that everyone fill their divots and repair ball marks on the green. We even have some of our staff fixing those things throughout the day. It's definitely a daily challenge and we will work hard to improve upon that!
