About
Both the East Course and the West Course at Jacaranda Golf Club are four-star rated by Golf Digest. These challenging golf courses weave across a tropical landscape covered with blue lagoons, tranquil ponds, and swaying palm trees. The West Course is the shorter of the two courses but it is no less challenging. Strategy and skill, rather than length, are the determining factors on this layout. With water hazards to avoid, numerous tricky doglegs, and tight bunkering along the greensides and landing areas, this course is definitely a shot-maker's layout. The raised, sloped greens and undulating, tree-lined fairways will require some careful maneuvering. The outward nine is slightly more forgiving than the demanding inward nine, which features more boldly contoured green complexes. The challenging, yet versatile design of both golf courses has made Jacaranda one of southeast Florida's most popular golfing destinations.

slow play...no way today!!!
The starter held us at the starter hut, saying that a few groups just went to the tee. He let us go at our regular tee time. We never caught up to anyone, and played in 3:45!!! Why can't it always be like this???

Great lay out and decent condition.
Would have liked to play as a single and there appeared to be plenty space but was paired with another single and eventually took long time due to playing partner on phone all time but that’s not the clubs fault.
Overall enjoyable round.

great golf course
worth the $70 I played. (west). Greens are in great shape, a bit too tricky for me. ... it is my 5th time and I still do not get use to them.

Nice layout
Course was in great shape, pace a little slow, staff friendly, range was a mess (no grass) as it was not so good hitting of sand especially after paying $10 for a bucket of range balls.

slow play
After 5 slow holes and 3 groups on a par 3 the ranger came by saying it was not his fault, that he just came on duty ( 2pm?) and there was a slow group with 3 open holes in front of them. He told us they were just finishing up and it would get better, it did get better thanks to the starter moving some groups to a different 9, How did the morning ranger allow a group to get 3 holes behind???

Course isn’t worth what they charge to play. Over all conditions are decent for the time of year. Greens roll fast which I like. We ordered food on the 8th from the gps on the cart. When we get to the turn there is no food. The woman said sorry about that, we were taking out the trash and didn’t see your order. For 20 minutes you were taking out the trash? Whatever. Cart girl comes around on 15 and asks if we want a drink, as she leaves her purse falls out. We take it to the starter who says nothing.....literally nothing. Not thank you, not where did you find it? Which course was she on? Literally, nothing!!!!! Overall experience was not good and I would not play the course again.

Good course close to the airport
Booked course last minute while on the plane en route. The layout is nice and the course in in great shape. The greens are in good condition and are somewhat quick. It's a bit pricey for non residents this time of the year, but I wanted to play a good course close to the airport and the West course met my requirements.

Favourite in the area
I love Jacaranda (both courses). We played here two years ago and it was a favourite and I was worried I would be let down by memory. I was not. These courses make you feel welcome by every staff member. The West course was in perfect shape and is a fun mix of holes that makes you think about your game.

West was best
The West course was in better condition than the East course. It also was a better layout. We flew through the front nine but were stopped cold on the back nine. I could see there was a very slow four-some holding things up. When I finally Did see and talk to a Marshall on the 15th hole and asked how many holes were clear in front of the foursome he said 2. He said he couldn’t say anything because they were on Pace. He ruined the enjoyment of golf for many players that day. Do your job! Keep the pace! Also I have never paid $10 for 35 golf range balls. That is a rip off.

It is difficult to tell a group to pick up there pace when they are playing within the guidelines we set forth (4 hours for 18 holes), but we are sincerely sorry if caused you any displeasure with your round that day.
