West at Jacaranda Golf Club
About
Both the East Course and the West Course at Jacaranda Golf Club are four-star rated by Golf Digest. These challenging golf courses weave across a tropical landscape covered with blue lagoons, tranquil ponds, and swaying palm trees. The West Course is the shorter of the two courses but it is no less challenging. Strategy and skill, rather than length, are the determining factors on this layout. With water hazards to avoid, numerous tricky doglegs, and tight bunkering along the greensides and landing areas, this course is definitely a shot-maker's layout. The raised, sloped greens and undulating, tree-lined fairways will require some careful maneuvering. The outward nine is slightly more forgiving than the demanding inward nine, which features more boldly contoured green complexes. The challenging, yet versatile design of both golf courses has made Jacaranda one of southeast Florida's most popular golfing destinations.

Jacaranda west a good course for visitors
First class course and facilities, well worth the visit
Sand Traps too deep
The course was very well taking care of, people was nice and speed was great, My only issue was with the sand traps, too deep with high walls toward the greens.
Play it again!
Very good layout, excellent condition, friendly staff, good pace of play. The round ended too early. I wanted to keep going. I am looking forward to playing it again.
Great course, but don't overpay.
I live in the area and play here about once a month. The East Course is more playable and forgiving than the West. The greens hold better on the East due to their shape and size. Course conditions are excellent - the best in the area by far, similar to Plantation Preserve which is about 2 miles east on Broward - on both the East and West. Greens are equally as impressive, but can be very grainy at times.
I played the East yesterday and all of the above held true. The only issue this course has is its personnel. The staff behind the counter are rude and unfriendly and act as if they should be on the course giving lessons or something instead of running your credit card. The whole team could use a lesson in customer service and how to be friendly and polite. For what they charge, this place really needs to do a better job putting a smile on their face. I don't like feeling dumb when I check in, when all I've done is...checked in. The quality of the course makes up for what is lacking during those few brief moments you spend at the clubhouse.
Tip of the day: don't overpay. Silly to pay $100+. Find a quality time on golf now and book through here at $60 or less. Do not overpay for this course unless money's no object.
Definitely a must play if you are in the area. For a good time, play the East.
Awesome fast greens!
This is a great course to play! Played 3 times during the week and took 4 hours or less each day! Greens were fast and a little tricky, keep it below the hole! Fairways were like carpet bunkers well maintained. A definite must play in the area!
Jacaranda is Must Play
Played here Feb. 26 and March 2nd as a single. Played with members and walk-one. All rave about Jacaranda and I know why. Great challenge at all sets of tees. Course in great condition from fairways to greens. Staff and especially Marshals want your day at Jacaranda to be a good one. This corset never disappoints.
Very slow play
No Marshalls to tell very slow golfers to move faster.
A lot of verbiage on the issue (slow play to be avided) on the scorecard or in the cart but nothing is done about it.
Management should look into this in a serious manner
greens burnt off
always enjoyable here the course is pleasant enough but the greens were burnt off from grass cut too short,,, It is a resort course but they may have had a tournament there earlier that week.
Jacaranda west
Bag drop a bit disorganized. Pro Shop staff and check in was great. Starter was not friendly at all.
Driving range again, a bit rough.
Course layout was interesting but again grass in fairway and on greens showed a lot of stress from play.
We had fun and the pace of play was good.
Beautiful Find!
This course is amazing! I have been playing golf in the Florida area for several years now. It has been difficult to find a course that has "bent grass." I absolutely love the course topography and the quality of the fairways and greens... The greens role "true"!!!
First time at West
Course was in great condition with the exception of having been very wet. This is not the fault of the course and even with the wet conditions greens are unlike any other courses in the area. Plenty of challenging twists turns and elevation to be enjoyed. Wish I had ponied up to play this course sooner.
Amazing fairway
Beautiful lay out, fairway are fantastic. Greens needs more attention.
Signed up for West, sent us out of the East
Signed up to play the west course after comparing the scorecards, but the starter sent us out on the East even though we had one of the first tee times of the day. Not sure the reasoning but I also didn't care which course I played since I hadn't played either. Got paired with another group which was fine since the place was pretty busy for dawn and it moved things along. Value through golfnow was a great deal, saving about 50%. Course lived up to the condition ratings it has since the other 2 courses we played this week were comparable (Heron Bay) or worse (bonaventure). my favorite hole was the short 17th, easy par 3 over the water. Had an excellent experience and would definitely go back. I think the starter needed to concentrate a little harder, he seemed a little stressed out and his job is pretty easy.
Tough to find South Florida Golf like this, but pricey
As a frequent business traveler who makes several stops in this area, this is the nicest I've found in south Florida golf. Most of the time, it's boring mounds, some water, little trees or character to any of the holes. This one was well laid out, attractive, had a couple of nice wrinkles to it. I played it from about 6300 yards (I'd normally play it at the 6700 but got paired with an older gentleman), it was fun, used all the clubs in the bag. My only complaint was that while it was nice, it wasn't TWICE as nice as the other courses, but it costs twice as much. Still, for a snowbird, this was jusdt what the doctor ordered.
Worth the cost
Immaculate fairways and greens, nice layout, fair from the mid tees for those who don't hit 275 off the tee. Fun and scenic track.
Jacaranda
first class operation from check in through lunch after
probably the best in area
Played the course for 4 times and also several others in Miami area incl. $180+ round. The east and west Jacaranda are the best I played!!!
One of best courses around Fort louderdale.
Play does two courses. Best around Fort Lauderdale.
Great course well worth the golf now price
Course condition was great. Greens had a nice roll to them. Play early , pace will slow down later in the day. Driving range is grass, which is always nice and nice putting green. The range is closed Tuesdays for maintenance.
