West at Jacaranda Golf Club

This course is Always on my list of courses to play

We played the East Course. And really enjoyed it (subsequently have played the West and liked that better!). It is demanding enough for us (husband 35 handicap and I 22) to be challenging and extremely well organised. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Practice is small (I had to ask where the short practice was) but not too many people seem to use it.

One thing I did not care for -- the carts are immobilised if you drive somewhere they do not want you to (like the fairway on a Par 3 OR more importantly to get to the short practice!) The only way you can get out of your predicament is to reverse. Which can be difficult, given where you are. Better signs would be appreciated! Luckily a charming Canadien helped us to re-start our cart so we could get out of the area we should not have been in. Maybe too much technology at use here?

Anyway bottom line is we played the course again and will play again several times before we leave!

Not easy to find. Round was enjoyable, pairing off with two others from different parts of the country.
Was challenging, fun, rewarding to well executed shots.
will return to give it a better try at lowering my score

I enjoyed this round of golf and the people were very friendly and the course was some what challenging and great fairways and the green were very good for putting.

We were in Ft lauderdale prior to a cruise and booked on line for early tee off. Club rentals were no problem (Burners). The course was in great shape and was excellent value for the price.

Since most of Florida has limited elevation changes, they need to take advantage of water and bunkers, and this course does that extremely well. It is worth playing but I would not spend more than 100.00 to play it

One of my favorite south Florida tracts. Well maintained, friendly helpful staff and nice facilities.

First time I've played here and will be back. Compare to courses in Jacksonville...World Golf Village, PV Country Club, Sawgrass. Excellent fairways and greens and multiple tee boxes make it very achievable for weekend golfer or advanced. I have a Premier card and will be back during the Summer season.

Overall very nice golf course with very friendly staff. Starter was great, course in great condition. The only negative comment was the pace of play.

one of the best course I've played, fair way was fantastic

This was my first time playing this course. It was in very good condition, greens were true, maybe a little slow. Staff friendly, many locals play here. My only complaint is they overcharge if you are from out of town. I paid $97, which to me was excessive for this course. But I know it's prime golf season in warm climates, so that's what you get. There are other courses in the area for less that are almost or just as nice. I would certainly play again, but not for this price.

We played in the rain off and on but it did not deter from our opinion of the course. Pristine condition and a gorgeous tropical landscape.

My wife and I had a great time when we visited Florida in October and played the West Course at Jacaranda. We were not disappointed when we returned to Florida this month and played both West and East courses. Besides playing great venues, we were impressed with how friendly all the employees were, especially the starters and the marshalls. The starters were very accomodating when we arrived and allowed us to start earlier than our scheduled tee times. They were also flexible in working me in when I wanted to do a replay. The marshalls were constantly monitoring the pace of play, but were not intrusive. Every once in a while they would stop and ask if we were enjoying ourselves. We thought it was a nice touch. We will definitely play at Jacaranda whenever we are in the Ft Lauderdale area.

The staff was tolerable...the starter, an older Greek man, was amazing and helpful. The course overall was in excellent shape...the greens themselves were acceptable. Nice practice range...but felt the place was a little over priced. I would play again...but hopefully get a better price.

jacaranda has under gone great improvements from the east to the west course. I enjoyed the rounds there. I eagerly awaits my next round. Thanks to Golfnow I can catch a hot deal now that it's in the season in south Miami

Course is in good shape, well maintained, greens are fast and true.
Staff was cordial and starter was great!

Best course conditions since I came from the North, early november.

I. Enjoyed this course as did my wife. It was in good condition Our only concerns were the quality of the food in the. Clubhouse, having to pay $10 for a small basket of practice balls and the fact that we had to wait almost 20 minutes after our allotted tee time and that it took well over 4 hours to get round!

As a 6 handicapper from the UK I am used to playing a lot quicker
