West at Jacaranda Golf Club
About
Both the East Course and the West Course at Jacaranda Golf Club are four-star rated by Golf Digest. These challenging golf courses weave across a tropical landscape covered with blue lagoons, tranquil ponds, and swaying palm trees. The West Course is the shorter of the two courses but it is no less challenging. Strategy and skill, rather than length, are the determining factors on this layout. With water hazards to avoid, numerous tricky doglegs, and tight bunkering along the greensides and landing areas, this course is definitely a shot-maker's layout. The raised, sloped greens and undulating, tree-lined fairways will require some careful maneuvering. The outward nine is slightly more forgiving than the demanding inward nine, which features more boldly contoured green complexes. The challenging, yet versatile design of both golf courses has made Jacaranda one of southeast Florida's most popular golfing destinations.

Hole Number 3 - West Course Photo submitted by msimmering on 11/05/2012
Great course!! Slow Play!!!
Very nice course. Range balls are not included and can be purchased for $10/small bucket containing 40 balls. Depending on the day, no drivers allowed. Putting green but no chipping/bunker practice area.
The course is in great shape. Wide fairways, not too challenging. Greens rolls beautiful and are consistent from one hole to the next.
The only issue I had was the pace of play. The range balls are pricy but the 18 hole rate is good. It must have been a busy day. Late morning tee time on a Thursday. Waited on every hole, every shot! Fun times!!!
Fanatsic fairways and fast greens
Course is in excellent condition. Marshall was superfriendly, we managed to play east front 9 and west course back 9.,.
Very nice
Very nice high bunkers small greens made it a challenge. Very well manicured several choices for tees
This course was fun
Not a bad course - price was a little expensive for the area but it was an overall good deal
How the West [Course] was Won.
The West Course is a shot maker's course. Compared to the East, the conditions (fairways, bunkers, greens), are in the same shape. Both the East and West are in great shape. The main difference is, the West is tougher, longer.
Off the tee, shot placement is more valuable and you won't always hit driver. Actually, I only pulled driver 3 times, including once by mistake.
There is fairly more water that comes into play, and the greens have more character.
You can't go wrong with the East, or the West, but for more of a challenge, play the West.
Very nice course in the Fort Lauderdale area
Course is in wonderful playing condition. Staff is friendly and very anxious to help. Enjoyed a wonderful day of golf and would play there anytime I am in the area..
i would definitely play again
layout of the course was good, staff was excellent. it was a pleasure to play there.
One of my favorite courses in South Florida
Played the west, but I have played the east before also. Both are always in great shape. Staff friendly and the course is not to difficult or easy. One of my favorite courses in South Florida.
Great course but
The other players behind us had no golf ethic. They had hit theirs balls near us two times without excuses. Our tee off time were at 7:45 and the marshall didn'nt know that and told us to accelerate our game. On the back nine we had waiting because the threesome took their time. A great golf track but for the golf ethic, no.
I recommand this track anytime.
Superb
The golf course in really good condition. One of the best around. We do the prefer the course West.
must play if you are traveling in the area
Great course. Not overly challenging, but will test you on several holes. Very scenic. The greens could have been in better shape. Overall, if you live here or just visiting, go out and play this course.
Best course i know
I Just love to play on Jacaranda Country Club.
Everything is great.
Food perfekt.
Great fairways!
Played the West course on 6/24/13. The tee boxes and fairways were in great condition. Most of the greens were also in good condition. The staff was friendly, not too pushy on play and the cart service was above par. I look forward to playing this course again soon.
Country Club feel in South Florida
Enjoyed the course. Very nicely maintained and friendly staff. One of the best courses we played in the Miami/ft Lauderdale area .
Played the East Course , looking forward to going back and giving the west a try too . Though I m a novice , my husbands not and we both enjoyed the course.
Very nice course with a good variety of holes
The course was in very good shape and offered a pretty good challenge. The greens held and putted well. I would play this course again.
Very Well Maintained
This course is very well maintained and is easily one of my favorite south florida courses because of it. I would recommend Jacaranda to a friend in a heartbeat. Not too challenging, but not easy either. For the money there is nothing better.
Good condition-interesting and pleasant
This course was in excellent condition and the pace of play was exceptional. The course is interesting enough and has several very good golf holes like the very short par 3 over water 17th hole and several holes with water or bunkers in the middle of the fairway making club selection problematic. We played from the white tees which seemed to bring all the obstacles in play but kept the overall distance to a playable 6000 yds. A fun experience.
Great value for money!
We played Jacaranda East for the first time on a practically empty course, being paired up with a very nice couple.
The course is in good condition - well maintained fairways and pretty fast and true greens. The bunkers could use some more sand though. Overall clean and well kept, with a women circulating the course with cold drinks.
Playing from the back tee, the course is long. Two +220 yards par threes, and a whole bunch of long par fours, requiring long irons on the approach. A lot of wind made for some really challenging shots
Jacaranda East is the wider and longer of the two courses. It is long, but for anyone hitting wide tee shots, like we did most of the day, a lot of trouble come into play. There is water on quite a few wholes, but it rarely requires a forced carry.
We payed around $50 through Golfnow, including a cart. Our Taylor Made rental sets cost another 60 per person. Pretty good condition, but quite big and clumsy beginner's clubs.
Overall it was a great day of golf, and considering the price and the condition of the course, it was well worth the money.
Best condition ever
We've played this course for over 20 years and this is the best shape it has ever been in.
