West at Jacaranda Golf Club
About
Both the East Course and the West Course at Jacaranda Golf Club are four-star rated by Golf Digest. These challenging golf courses weave across a tropical landscape covered with blue lagoons, tranquil ponds, and swaying palm trees. The West Course is the shorter of the two courses but it is no less challenging. Strategy and skill, rather than length, are the determining factors on this layout. With water hazards to avoid, numerous tricky doglegs, and tight bunkering along the greensides and landing areas, this course is definitely a shot-maker's layout. The raised, sloped greens and undulating, tree-lined fairways will require some careful maneuvering. The outward nine is slightly more forgiving than the demanding inward nine, which features more boldly contoured green complexes. The challenging, yet versatile design of both golf courses has made Jacaranda one of southeast Florida's most popular golfing destinations.

Amazing fairways, fast greens and great layout
The East course from the blue tees is a serious test of golf. The greens are fast, the approaches must be accurate and the rough never gives you a decent lie, even around the greens. We have played over 30 different courses in the area and Jacaranda definitely has the best fairways, almost like a carpet. Playing this course with the golfnow special rate is a real bargain. Please note that you will not always play the course you booked. On the previous 4 times we have played here, they sent us to the other course, which is no problem since they are both in pristine condition.
Amazing Course With Great Service
Both the east and west courses are in amazing condition. Greens are fast, but hold balls with spin. The staff here goes the extra mile to ensure you are having a nice visit. The marshal even gave us a layout book on one of the hole while we were waiting.
East course is much longer than the west. I definitely like the west better due to it having more interesting holes. Overall a great club worth visiting.
Big Bunkers
I played the west course. It was in great shape. The greens are surrounded by steep bunkers making for challenging shots.
Good course and value for money
Good course and value for money and will return again to play either course!!
Good course
I really enjoyed this course, friendly and playable. Some of the greens, however, needed some work but most of them were lush and fairly fast. Would go back.
Course is very consistent in regards to its condition.
This course is a typical South Florida course nestled in a middle income community that is usually in tip-top condition. Drains very well in the summer and the fairways tend to be cut tight which is a plus for the better player. Greens are usually quick and true. There are a few doglegs as well which make you use your entire bag. Overall, a good value!
course is in great shape challenging but not diiicult
friendly staff great course for the price on golf now
Great greens and fairways
This course plays great .. The only downside is that they extremely increase their prices during the winter season. Residents should get a better discount. I took a friend from NYC there during December and the price was $115.00 each! Hillcrest Country Club plays just as nice and is 45-65 $ during winter so I recommend Hillcrest during the winter. The greens roll GREAT at Hillcrest and are real quick.. Nice challenging track. Save Jacaranda for the summer when it drops down to 45-55 $ and plays just as good as the winter months.
Wonderful play
Top flight from the moment I drove on the premises.
Courteous bag drop and pick up. Friendly pro shop employee and cynical yet helpful starter. I played the West course and got hooked up with the most positive golfer one could meet.
Course was in excellent condition and there were many grounds crew folks working that day to keep this facility in top notch shape.
Not one thing to complain about. Great fairway, tee and green conditions. Maybe it would have been more enjoyable had they turned the fans off as lazy shots were swept up and carted to a bad place.
This was the last place I played on a three week vacation and I won't make that mistake again. No comparison to the other courses I played.
Also I got this play as a hot deal on Golfnow at $65 when the normal GN rate was $89. A great value at either price IMO.
BTW-- Finished in 3.75 hrs. Played as a threesome behind a full course and started at 10:30 am.
Not why it looked like in pictures
Wanted to try one of the more expensive courses in south Florida and I was not blown away to say the least. Most if not all tee boxes on the west course were below average, not flat and lots of dead/dirt areas. The fairways are definitely their main concern they were perfect, some of the best I have ever played on just impeccable. However the greens were very fast but were pretty beat up and bumpy, with patchy rotten spots. Overall a nice facility but for a hundred bucks It wasn't what I was looking at in the pictures.
