About
TPC Tampa Bay can be as challenging as the golfer wants it to be. But be prepared to pay the price for taking the risks. Located just a 20-minute ride from the Tampa International Airport in Lutz, TPC Tampa Bay is open to the public seven days a week. A Bobby Weed design, TPC Tampa Bay is part of a network of courses owned and operated by PGA Tour Golf Course Properties. The fairways have subtle movement and weave through lakes and natural wetlands - 19 in all - and around strategic bunkers that number 81. The greens are large (averaging 6,400 square feet) and undulating, and most are open in the front, offering golfers the option of hitting run-up approach shots. There's a clubhouse and a fully stocked golf shop offering a complete line of equipment and apparel from the top names in golf to complement the course.

Recently Aerated so the greens weren’t in great condition

First time here
Loved playing this course with family. Very friendly staff to help with bags and carts right from the start. Course was in good shape dry in some areas but a growing drought is occurring currently. Greens have been recovering and have been patched. Golf snobs will be particular about the greens but it did not disappoint my experience.

1st timer
Fun mix of holes. Smallish bermuda greens. Greens were a little on the slow side because of lack of rain. No fault of the course. Overall conditions were very good.
You can still score playing to the safe side on most holes. Short-side yourself and you won't be happy.
Great pro shop, clubhouse and driving range. Staff was also very pleasant and engaging.

Great layout
Interesting layout making good use of water, bunkers, trees, and manmade rolling berms. Greens rolled true and fast. For the dry season, this course had pretty lush grass. Glad I finally played here and will be back.

Great Time
Everything at the course was great. All the staff from inside the clubhouse to out on the course was excellent. Loved the challenge of the bunkers and water around the course. I would play here again. Price was very reasonable.

Played course for first time and was extremely disappointed in the tee boxes and loosing some of the greens on the frontside. Do not waste your money on this course.

Great Course
The tee box, fairways and greens were in great shape. and well maintained. A good mix of openness with trees for shade at tee boxes. Driving range and putting green located well in relationship to starter and flow. Practice balls included with the round. When in the Tampa area I would go again without hesitation.

Great Layout
Loved the layout and the fairways. Greens were almost not playable, many areas under repair and bare patches with sand in them. Payed $150.00 to play the course which was worth about $50 due to greens. Everything else was good, friendly staff and acceptable practice area. I would however, not consider playing again.

Our greens are going through a tough spring transition and we are diligently working on repairing the worst greens which require additional sanding to help growing conditions.. Just ok
Greens were terrible, lots of common Bermuda patches they they are trying to cut out and resod. Super slow greens on most of the greens. The rest of the course is nice and fun lay out. Just if you slap TPC in front of your name and want people to pay over hundred dollars..it better be too not but TPC Tampa is not that.. Lots of 35 dollar courses in the same area with way nicer greens.

It was “Meh”
Pace of play was painfully slow. Bunkers were not maintained to the expectation of a $150 round. This was my first visit to TPC Tampa. Next time, I will go play at Streamsong Resort instead.

Good course even for the hacks
Really nice course makes you feel like a pro for about 120 bucks so for me worth it! Staff were very nice even the starter to make sure I had a good experience check it out if your in Tampa

Great Course Great Time
Just finished playing 18 at TPC. Played a lot of courses around the Odessa-Northern Tampa area. This course lives up to it’s reputation! The Greens are being worked on to bring them back to perfection but they still rolled true with good speed and the rest of the course is in “Great” condition! I got a good deal on GolfNow but I personally think this is one course you should play if you get the chance while in the Tampa area. The manager is doing things right and it shows. I will definitely be back to this course when I can.
