Yes, generally staff was friendly and the first nine went quickly and completed 1 and 15 minutes. It was a borderline weather day. The front nine greens were shaggy and some spots were patched.

The back nine greens were much better, but it was very slow! Approximately, 2 hr. and 45 minutes to complete.

This course used to have the best greens in the tampa area unfortunately they have Gotten to be horrible they are hard no grass and bumpy . The range and short game facility is terrific the Fairways are OK. Hope they can turn it around but I don't see it happening for A few months.

I really enjoyed this course, for what I paid for it I definitely felt like it was fair. The only thing is the way the par 3s were set up weren’t exactly my favorite. Odd pin placement and odd distances, but that might have been due to the weather.

Great solid long holes. Have to be accurate. Narrow fairways. Plays great

I always enjoy Lansbrook. Great range, great staff.

Had fun playing 9, but pair in front of us were slow and frustrating to watch. I left after 9.

Amazing wildlife everywhere! Greens run fast and crazy slopes!

Course was way overbooked, we teed off 20 mins after our scheduled time, then sat waiting for 2nd hole for 20+ mins behind 4 groups. Then they had the nerve to send a ranger out to tell us to pick up the pace of play as we were putting on 3 with again 3-4 groups waiting at the next tee box. Absolute worst experience. Almost 5.5 hours to finish 18.

We had a blast. However, Pace of play was slow

This course is interesting and can be fun to play. Pace of Play really detracts from the enjoyment. When we got to hole #2 there were 2 groups. We waited on every hole.

Unfortunately, in the past 2 1/2 years since I began playing this course, it has gone straight downhill.

When I First the greens were a Hidden Gem!!! The greens were hard and fast and excellently maintained. You couldn’t have the ball roll across the greens nicer on a public course the greens were outstanding.

The fairways were slightly above average and the tea boxes were well below average, but for an over all rating of this course 2 1/2 years ago, I would’ve given it a B to a B+ for a public course.

Now I honestly have to say that this course has slowly, but surely lost its luster for me.

Last year The greens were terrible and have continued to get worse each and every time I have played here over the past year.

This past Thursday 4/13/23 the greens were in the worst shape I have ever seen not only were they extremely poorly maintained. There were big patches of no grass, and look like some of the grass have been scooped out with a shovel right on the greens!!! Almost as if somebody had just ripped out sections of the turf on at least 11 of these greens.

On hole number 16 a very long par five when I got up to the green with my playing partners, we were in shock. It looked as if somebody had taken a car and done a burn out across the green from one side to the other and it had been sanded over.

And while we were playing the 14th green at approximately 10 AM in the morning, the grounds crew turned the sprinklers and watered the green. AS WE RODE UP TO THE GREEN!!!!! The grounds crew left the water on for a full 5 minutes and it was puddled water on the green, and we could not even put it and play out the whole!!! I was furious!!!!

not only was this bad for the green, but every single green we played on, was so wet that many of my groups of shots plugged into the greens!!! This was unbelievable I couldn’t believe it.

The fairways were very nicely maintained sand traps. Very nicely maintained T boxes could be much better.

But I have to tell you that this hidden gem of a golf course, and its former excellent greens are no longer good enough to waste your money on.

I would put this course at the very bottom of my list if I was going to plant any longer.

After this past Thursdays round, I will no longer play the scores unless they get a new groundskeeper.

Went off 25 minutes late bcz a group came late. Not acceptable.
