I would say after the reviews prior to my round about the slow play to be wildly inaccurate.

For example I found the course to be in good condition, greens ran really well and overall pace of play was good finishing the round in 4 hrs flat with a 822 tee off!

My suggestion for anyone looking for a round i Florida is that if you wish to play a good course at a great price to come here! The other courses I played during my trip were 4.5 hrs to 5 hrs rounds due to tee offs later in the morning between 1030 to 1130am which is going to lead to a slower round at any course

Winter crowd is still here, so they’re trying to get all their golf in, a bit crowded

What started out to be a beautiful day of golf turned into the most distasteful experience I’ve had at a course. Booked a 3:07 tee time and arrived early only to find the course has insufficient carts for the number of golfers they attempted to serve.

The management obviously does not have a course marshal because by the time 3:00 o’clock came around a league group that had 5 or more foursomes which were supposed to start at 2:30 had not started yet. Pace of play earlier must have been terrible and was not monitored.

Our 3:07 turns out to be close to 4:00 o’clock . It took 3 hours to play 9 holes behind the league. We requested a nine hole ticket to be played another day as there was not daylight left to finish our round. The cashier reluctantly contacted a manager who agreed only to return half what we paid which is not enough for another 9 holes. We each paid to play 18 holes. Regardless of what we paid, because of poor course management, we could not receive what we paid for. We are expected to pay a higher price for something we had already paid for. Not acceptable!

To further the ruination of the day the manager showed up before we left and yells and screams at his cashier about returning us too much money! Such childish and immature behaviour for a management position.

Did not expect this at a well known and premium golf course!! Where in the world did “the customer is always right” disappear to??

This was the first time I’ve played Lansbrook in at least a year or more. I didn’t go back because of the slow play. Here in Florida it’s the high season in there is a lot of people on the courses. It was a little slow but not as bad as it’s been in the past. So all in all it was a good day.

Golf courses are very pack this days we quit on the 9, just extremely slow, is not fun, they need to space out the groups, but I get it the more pack the more money you make.

The golf is in good condition, just be prepared to a 5 plus hours round.

Again this is everywhere now is not just on this course, or find a course that tee times are 10 min apart at least.

Greens are terrible hardly any grass this is the worst year I have seen does anybody care.

If you don’t mind a course that allows for 6 somes after 3 this is your place.

According to the pro shop rounds are 5hours I quit after 9 as mine round was to be 6hours won’t go back

took me 5h15min to do the 18 holes. there were parties of 6 or 8 people, and all parties were going off every 7 min. That is ridiculous

This coarse was in the best shape of the previous courses I've played. Very bizzy place, nice fairways and greens, only down side was the coarse was over booked tee times every 8 minutes.

First of all…the staff is the least friendliest of any pro shop in Tampa bay region.

The greens are very fast for this type of course and others in the area have stardard green speeds for muni type courses. Also, the green have almost mud showing a little grass, hence the fast speeds. It takes at least 5 holes to get used to the speeds

I am a hardcore golfer , and like most other cheaper courses in the area, most golfers here are not low-handicaps ,and have trouble paring holes, let alone birdes…so expect a 5 hr round on Sat and Sun…

I come here because it’s cheap on the weekend(with the $10 off coupon), so if you can pay $35 or less, I would book a round if you don’t mind the 5 plus hour round.
