Lansbrook Golf Club

Played 3 days in a row here. Couple holes were a little swampy early in AM. Sprinklers and rain helped that.

But I have no complaints about this course. Except for the dirtballs who don't rake the sandtraps when they are done Hitting out of them.

Played Blues twice and whites once.

Gotta be straight here. This Florida rough will hide your ball real good. Staff very friendly.

Played solo so I cruised along.

A lot of holes were underwater. Cart path only sucks for whole course.

There are a few holes that the fairways need help. But, you see a lot of work being done. Actually, thought the course was a bad course, but it grew on me. Tight fairways though.

Course was in extremely bad condition with many holes being under construction. Also, almost every fairway was muddy. Condition of the course was HORRIBLE especially considering what the green fee was. Never again

Overall 3 stars only because they were laying new sod for the T-boxes. Replaced range w new sod - very nice. Once this is all done, it should be a 4.5 course.

The greens were great and fast as usual. Some of the fairways were showing the effects of summer heat, some dead grass or none at all. We had to set out a very hard rain for 45 minutes, but when we resumed the greens had drained extremely well, no standing water!!

I made the third hole by myself. Then I was met by a foursome. They let me through. Then I made another foursome. They did not. Because the three twosomes in front of them were hacking shots left and right and we’re holding up the entire course. I called the clubhouse and asked for the Marshall to come out. And they said it’s just a busy day. If you’re going to come out to a prestigious course such as this you need to learn golf etiquette. If you were not good and you were trying to learn how to play the game or not go to the game let the next group go. If the Marshall would’ve came out, they would’ve seen that the people that were holding up 7 to 8 groups, the course could’ve kept playing at its normal pace.

5 1/2 hours extremely slow , but it looks like it is the norm now.

The course is nice it’s in good shape

Ok I play several courses across Tampa and this course is one of the better. Yes their are tee box resodding going on but so what. You tee off a little closer to hole. The greens are some of the best in the area and the course is fun. Well worth your time. Kudos for making the course better rather than leaving tee boxes tore up.

Slow pace of play, prob not courses fault. Tons of standing water, course has a lot of maintenance going on. Photos make this course look 100 times better than it is.

Tee boxes much better than last time I played here a few months ago. Lots of work going on a many of the boxes moved, excited to see how it looks when the Renovations are done. Didn’t visit the restaurant, played super early so pace was wide open. Greens in much better shape than my last visit as well. Driving range also under construction,

Had not been to Lansbrook in a while and came away disappointed.

First, while I appreciate re-sodding the driving range, I’d Saturday morning really the best time? Wouldn’t have during the week when it’s less busy make sense? Also, the guy running the sod lift had total disregard for patrons .

After playing it also seemed there were a lot places needing more attention than the driving range. Tee boxes were dirt on many holes and lots of bare spots.

Nobody policed the pace of play, allowing the four knuckleheads in front of us to play some kind of two man best ball and stacking up.the field while they analyzed each other’s horrible shots.

Course layout is good, greens were above average, but right now there are better courses for your dollar.

The Tee boxes and the Fairways need more seeding. I see they are re sodding the driving range so hopefully they will address the bare spots.
