With its exciting and challenging layout, Lansbrook Golf Club has earned a reputation as one of Tampa Bay's finest daily-fee golf courses. The traditional 18-hole, par 72 Lane Marshall design has amenities and service at a level of excellence typically found only at private country clubs. While surrounded by Florida's lush scenery (which includes the occasional alligator) Lansbrook G.C. is conveniently located just minutes from all of Tampa's major attractions. The course was redesigned by Ron Garl to give it a more contemporary look. Water hazards on 16 holes make for interesting play.

Slow play - course needs a marshall
We had 7 groups on the 5th hole today, and no this was not an attempt at a Guinness world record! There was a 4ball on the green, and 3 x 2balls ahead of us, we had a 3ball, and there were a 2 x 2balls behind us.
Some of these were 4balls at the start but decided to split up, also, one 2 ball was extremely slow.
This course needs a Marshall. I’ve played quite a few times at this course, groups split up, some groups pass out other groups to find a gap, and slow play isn’t taken care of. Maybe a few slow play sign and etiquette reminders will also help.
Nice course to bring your group.
It’s a fun course that is always packed but 4 hours is expected and works out fine
better than average conditions for public
Worth going despite a long car trip as the course conditions were acceptable. This had the best conditions so far for us- the Clearwater area of public courses. The fairways were NOT hard as rocks. They were green, not exactly plush, but playable. The greens were nice, consistent and playable. The thing that made this course moderate to hard for women is that is plays very long from the forward tees.
Other than that, course management could keep me out of the bunkers. There is some water in play, too. The packed tee sheet , 7 or 8 minutes between groups, made for a five-hour round! Long day with the round trip car trip. However, we will return.
This course has helpful and friendly staff.
The course was in good shape for this time of year. The greens were through and fast. I will play there again.
Very Slow
Very , very slow today. Two hours, forty minutes to play front nine. No ranger on the course. Planned to play eighteen, left after nine.
Slow pace of play detracted from an otherwise nice round.
The course was in good condition and the staff was friendly, but the pace of play was way too slow. We were waiting on every shot and the twosome that was paired with us quit after 16 holes.
Fast undulating greens
Fairways do have some Bare spots, tee boxes roughed up, but great greens. Overall the course is in good shape and a pleasure to play. The over hanging Oaks seem to be a magnet for golf balls! Great challenging par 3s.
Challenging
1st time playing at this course, definitely designed for the more seasoned golfer. Stimpmeter set at 10.5 which was the 1st time I had experienced greens that quick. Would recommend to my veteran golfers, will come back after some more rounds under my belt.
Lansbrook Outing
Had a terrific day with some dear friends from Canada who absolutely LOVED the course. Played well, weather was perfect, staff was inviting and friendly. Everything you need for a great day at the Golf course..

Tee times booked to tight together . Round took 4 1/2 hours . No marshall though marshall cart visible when arrived . Greens in excellent condition also tee boxes . Fairways on front very bare back much better . Played at 90 degrees which I have no issue . Other players didn't abide by rules tracking through very wet areas . Could be a gem but .
