Hidden Valley Golf Club

Slow play just added to our frustration with the 30 to 50 mile an hour gusts of wind. Wind can be excused but slow play with no marshall is not good.

This is a great course, beautiful scenery, and is very well maintained. Many holes are wide open which will help accommodate beginners like myself. For the price, I think this course is definitely a steal.

Slow play kills any course!! Love the place…but please charge me double if it means I don’t have to play a 5.5 hour round!

Other than the greens being punched the course is great.

Great layout, good pace just lumpy tee boxes and punched greens made it terrible. Give it some time like 2months and hopefully they get right again because it's an awesome course layout.

I drove up with my buddy and I walked in to go pay and as I walk in the door I say good morning. The fella does not speak at all. So I walk up the the front counter and I speak again good morning. Oh hey how can I help you. Well, I have a 10 am tee time I'd like to pay. He says we'll are you familiar with our dress code? Mind you I've played here many of times in very similar get up. I had on shorts with my golf shoes a dry fit nike shirt that did not have a collar and ball cap. I said yes I've played here many times before. He says well sorry someone should have told you about our dress code you need a collar. Do you have a jacket? No sir I do not have a jacket. And then he just stares at me. I said you know what sir just go ahead and cancel my tee time. And he says ok no problem. As I walk out I see about 5 guys on The range 3 of which had on shirts as me with no collar shorts and ball cap. I guess I didn't have the complexion for the connection with this guy. Sucks cause I've had very good experience here at this course. I'm. Ot gonna make this racial but come on now it really stunk what this guy did.

%50 bucks for a 4PM starting time. You might get 4 holes in befor dark.

Not only were the green so overgrown that the ball wouldn’t roll but there were lots of crab grass on the greens and you could see how they have been trying to pull the grass and then they put sand where they pulled the grass out so the greens are in such bad shape that’s very difficult to Golf and also the roof was overgrown so it was like US open Conditions trying to hit out of the rough very difficult and this course in the past has been an amazing course to play on but I would not recommend it to anyone at this point until they fix those things

Picked a good day weather wise. Course is better with previous knowledge for shot placement. Slow pace of play hurts the total enjoyment.

It was an OK round, but a lot of tees are closed, the greens were plugged and very rough (no one told us), and no cart was available until 15 mins before tee off, so a rush to get to the tee and prepare.

The standards here have slipped a lot, and management needs to get its act together.

Always love this course, great view and challenging lay out. However, the cart girl been taking the card to the club house to make the transaction which is totally fine. We gave the card on the 3rd hole and finally met the cart girl again on the 16th, but she told me the card was given to me and I have signed the receipt which I never did. I talked to the manager and get a satisfied solution, other than that the pace is extremely slow, need to wait to play every hole for at least 7-8 minutes.

You can tell the greens were aerified last week or so but still fun. The rest of the course is in great shape. Striped fairways and the rough is thick and green. Great job staff.

The course was in excellent condition, tee boxes, fairways and greens. Love the course, the location, availability and price. Because it was very warm, it was nice having a cart girl out to purchase cold drinks. I wish there could be some improvement in the way the carts are programmed, they crawl up hill, stop or slow so suddenly going down hill..... Doesn't,make any sense.

Shame. This used to be a good course.

Not being allowed to check in and get/load a buggy until 10 minutes before teeing off is horrible.

Little or no warmup time after then rushing to the tee.

Some of the cart paths are really rough, they used to be good.

Nasty alien grass growing around the edges of some greens.

New - or much better management - is needed to restore this course to former high standards.
