The aptly named Hidden Valley Golf Club feels secluded set between two large hillsides, amongst carefully preserved boulder outcroppings, ravines, and an abundance of native flora and fauna. The challenging layout demands accuracy and it will also test your shot-making skills. Golfers should expect to utilize every club in their bag. The golf course features tight fairways lined with mature trees, tricky doglegs, and multi-tiered greens that can be difficult to read. The rolling terrain also promises difficult uphill and downhill lies. Bunkers are strategically placed throughout and there is water on a few holes. A windy day adds yet another formidable element to the challenging design. The diverse layout has a mix of difficult par 3s, reachable par 5s, and a few birdie opportunities. Hidden Valley Golf Club will definitely test your skills, but five sets of tees make the course more approachable to a wide range of skill levels.

Nice course

Didn't like the staff. Coming out and telling your not playing fast enough and everyone is playing the same pace just makes for a bad day other then that it's a tough course to play and I enjoyed it

Please fill the bunkers

Could be the best course in the IE if they filled the bunkers with nice sand. Right now it’s all compacted and half of them are unplayable. Otherwise this course is amazing

Beautiful views throughout. Longest round of my life.

Pace of play was terrible. Just shy of 6 hours to finish a round on a Monday. There’s a lot of ground under repair from the rain and bunkers are under repair as well. The course was still very enjoyable to play with the layout and views taking center stage. The golf carts are governed everywhere. I’d play again if the pace of play wasn’t so bad.

Molasses is the only thing slower

No marshall to be found anywhere. Either the spacing between groups was too tight, or the course manager isn't monitoring course movement during the day. A group, 2 ahead of us, was not allowing people to play through, and staying on the greens to repeat their putts. Totally frustrating having to wait 10-12 minutes between shots, kind of ruined the experience. I won't be back.
