Hidden Valley Golf Club

Always enjoy playing here. But this day, the pace of play was very bad and there weren’t any ranger found to control it. Everything else was good!

We played Hidden Valley right after the recent heavy storms. The course was in great condition and the views of the snow covered mountains were amazing.

First time at the course and I have to say it is very nice but challenging for new golfers as myself. However, Staff was very unfriendly and Marshall ended up taking the keys to our cart on the 15th hole making us walk the rest of the way. After are round we were greeted by sheriffs and asked to leave the property. This Marshall who is an Older bigger man was quite threatening in his demeanor and in his actions. If you plan on visiting this course please stay away from him because he abuses his power and does not know how to engage in a friendly conversation.

A Beautiful course. The views are spectacular. There wasn’t Ranger and we had to wait every hole. It took 5 hours 30 minutes to finish 18 holes.

Tee boxes need work many where not playable for price there are better options in area. that being said its a great layout challenging greens would love to play if conditions on tee boxes improve

I would go play again. It was challenging course for me.

First time playing this course. Black, Blue, White, and Red tee boxes. Played the blues and found the landing areas to be fair. Fairways were in decent shape for winter golf. Lots of elevation changes to factor into your shots. Most of the greens were in good shape, a few were bumpy with the accasional dead spot but again, it is winter golf. Being honest I have to say the bunkers were concrete with a layer of sand and made for a less than predictable shot out of them. The Pro Shop recommends not being above the hole with your approach shot and they were not kidding. It was a calm day when I played but I can imagine the wind gets ripping through here and makes some downhill putts even speedier. Not all tee shots (even par 5s) require the driver as some fairways will run downhill and give you more distance than you wanted. Had lunch in the restaurant after the round. Good patty melt and cold beer at a price you would expect. I will play here again.

The greens were so hard nothing would stay on the greens when you hit them. No sand in the bunkers.

Course is very nice, staff is friendly. Only complaint, Marshall kept harassing us through the front 9, telling us to push the group in front. We had a good pace and the group in front did too. From holes 3-8 he stopped at each hole. How about don’t book so many tee times if you want groups to play faster. Probably won’t go back for a while.

We started at 1:50 and played only 13 holes and paid full price. It was not totally dark yet but we got cut off. Disappointed.
