The aptly named Hidden Valley Golf Club feels secluded set between two large hillsides, amongst carefully preserved boulder outcroppings, ravines, and an abundance of native flora and fauna. The challenging layout demands accuracy and it will also test your shot-making skills. Golfers should expect to utilize every club in their bag. The golf course features tight fairways lined with mature trees, tricky doglegs, and multi-tiered greens that can be difficult to read. The rolling terrain also promises difficult uphill and downhill lies. Bunkers are strategically placed throughout and there is water on a few holes. A windy day adds yet another formidable element to the challenging design. The diverse layout has a mix of difficult par 3s, reachable par 5s, and a few birdie opportunities. Hidden Valley Golf Club will definitely test your skills, but five sets of tees make the course more approachable to a wide range of skill levels.

Beautiful course & layout!

I love this course. Overall, was in “good” shape - but there were a few greens and fairways that showed some disease or were under repair. I’d consider the course slightly difficult, with errant balls being extremely difficult to find in the rough. (Bring more balls than you expect to need.)

*Golfcarts are great with GPS and screen built in. Dislike that they restrict speed or ability to drive in some locations.

challenging but beautiful course!

first time at this course and its definitely a beauty! im a beginner golfer so it might have been a bit too difficult for my tastes, but i definitely still had a ton of fun. great for its price and good food back at base.

The Course is okay

The issue here is the unfriendliness of the pro shop specifically Raphael, he has got to be about the most unpleasant person at the course. He works the pro shop in the AMs, and really goes out of his way to be unpleasant. We play in the area frequently and if it were not for Raphael we would play this course more often, The course is good, and if you are up for the real rey of sunshine working the pro shop in the mornings , then this might be the place to play.

Tee boxes were perfect. Greens were a little rough with fungus, bald/dead spots and but they were fast and tricky to read. Very good course, just needs a little tlc on the greens.

Great Course, bad conditions on the Back 9

Love Hidden Valley but the conditions have really gone down hill. Apparently there greens have been messed up so the greenskeepers are working double time trying to get them repaired. The Front 9 was actually pretty nice, but the Back 9 pin locations were ridiculous and you could tell that a fungus ripped through the greens somewhat recently. However, I love this course and it looks like it’ll be back to pristine conditions in the next couple of months. 10/10 would still recommend for the discounted tee times they’re offering while the course is getting repaired!
