The aptly named Hidden Valley Golf Club feels secluded set between two large hillsides, amongst carefully preserved boulder outcroppings, ravines, and an abundance of native flora and fauna. The challenging layout demands accuracy and it will also test your shot-making skills. Golfers should expect to utilize every club in their bag. The golf course features tight fairways lined with mature trees, tricky doglegs, and multi-tiered greens that can be difficult to read. The rolling terrain also promises difficult uphill and downhill lies. Bunkers are strategically placed throughout and there is water on a few holes. A windy day adds yet another formidable element to the challenging design. The diverse layout has a mix of difficult par 3s, reachable par 5s, and a few birdie opportunities. Hidden Valley Golf Club will definitely test your skills, but five sets of tees make the course more approachable to a wide range of skill levels.

Hidden Valley is almost always in great shape, they have some really challenging holes and a fun course layout. Pace of play is decent. Recommended.

6 hours!

First time playing here. Course was really beautiful - carved into the hills and rock formations. And it was in good shape. But I teed off at 12:20 and finished at 6:20 — no exaggeration! And not a single Marshall to be seen.

I liked the course, so I may give it another try. Maybe it was just a bad day for pace of play?

No sand in the bunkers

The bunkers are hard as a rock making it difficult to get a good hit.

Good Golf Day

I've played here several times and the course is always in good shape. The greens were a little slow but true. The layout is fantastic!. Other than the group ahead of us holding everyone up ( 6:30am tee time) which took 4.5 hours it was an awesome day. Great service at the restaurant after the round as well.

One of my favorite courses in SoCal

This is my second time playing here. The tee box, fairway and green conditions are all good. I like the openness of the course, not walled in by rows of houses. Could use more restroom sites through. Pace was good. They were spraying sand to the last few holes' greens, but not a problem. Great experience overall.

Very good golf course

Everything is great, but all restrooms are closed and locked at 6pm. That's very very uncomfortable. Other than that, it's very satisfactory.

Greens were very fluffy and by far the worst golf cart I’ve ever had. Cart went 3 mph the entire round. Was a joke

Excellent course!

I enjoyed playing Hidden Valley GC especially since it was my first time. The course was in pretty good shape considering the greens were still healing from being aerated weeks ago; bumpy and slow.

The cart GPS was especially helpful listing the holes with blind spots and showing the players ahead giving us insight as to when we could tee off.

The course was challenging with the undulations in the fairways and greens as well as the other hazards. Overall, it’s a very nice course. I’d come back.

Great Course/ Great Service

The people running Hidden Valley are really very nice, without a snippet of adverse attitude. They were very helpful and accommodating to me.

The course is a great layout with a mix of easy, medium and difficult holes. It is a joy to play.

The greens were overseeded just about a week before I played, so they were very slow, so they weren't as fun and challenging as they usually are. Not what I'm used to at HV. They should be in tip top shape in about a week or so. That said, HV is a golf adventure, full of fun and horror ( if you shoot your ball in the wrong position ). I've always loved Hidden Valley!

Love Hate relationship

Thus is an exceptional golf course. It's very challenging and fun. I love playing Hidden Valley even though it beats me up every time I play it. Despite that I will be back again and again.
