Hidden Valley Golf Club

I enjoyed playing Hidden Valley GC especially since it was my first time. The course was in pretty good shape considering the greens were still healing from being aerated weeks ago; bumpy and slow.

The cart GPS was especially helpful listing the holes with blind spots and showing the players ahead giving us insight as to when we could tee off.

The course was challenging with the undulations in the fairways and greens as well as the other hazards. Overall, it’s a very nice course. I’d come back.

The people running Hidden Valley are really very nice, without a snippet of adverse attitude. They were very helpful and accommodating to me.

The course is a great layout with a mix of easy, medium and difficult holes. It is a joy to play.

The greens were overseeded just about a week before I played, so they were very slow, so they weren't as fun and challenging as they usually are. Not what I'm used to at HV. They should be in tip top shape in about a week or so. That said, HV is a golf adventure, full of fun and horror ( if you shoot your ball in the wrong position ). I've always loved Hidden Valley!

Thus is an exceptional golf course. It's very challenging and fun. I love playing Hidden Valley even though it beats me up every time I play it. Despite that I will be back again and again.

This course is absolutely stunning. Every single hole has incredible views and course design is phenomenal. Tough track, but SO MUCH FUN! Definitely a must play if you're in the IE!

Beautiful 360 views of the whole valley. Course can be challenging off the tee, when you miss fairway the ball is likely gone forever in thick brush. But the layout is awesome, the elevated tees are so fun, and for the price it’s hard to beat. Only complaint I have is the slow pace of play. They don’t have Marshall managing pace and rounds here usually take 5 hours.

We played a week before the scheduled aerification, as result, the greens were bumpy and super slow. Some of the tee boxes were being worked but in a month or so the course should be tip top. Looking forward to playing it in May.

I have played this course many times.

Arrived 12:10 for a 12:20 tee time to find three foursomes waiting to tee off. We teed off at 12:50. Waited on the first sixteen holes. The fairways are good, the greens are very slow and bumpy. We finished our round at 6:15 a 5 hr. 25 min. found.

Efficient check in process, friendly employee.

Had to wait for carts, they were busy.

Ordered food to take on the course, very good.

Pace of play., brutal, 5+ hrs, jeez...not a Marshall in sight.

Fairways were good, greens a little shaggy but very playable. Bunkers had hardly any sand, hard pan and pebbles and mud...really ?!?

I won't be in a hurry to return but the price was right.

A+++ for the employees, every interaction I had was very positive, knowledgeable and curteous. You made a long day somewhat tolerable.

First time for this.

Had a 12:20 tee time, arrived at the first tee ten minutes prior. There were three foursomes waiting to tee off ahead of us. Finally, teed off at 12:50. Pace of play very slow, for the first sixteen holes. Finished 18 at 6:10, 5 hour and 20-minute round. The course is in very good condition, the greens were very slow and bumpy. The brake lock on the cart we were given did not work.

Played course for first time since before C19. Was excited to play, but found out at time of check-in that there were multiple tournaments playing the course that day.

Let me first say staff was pleasant to engage with, but

there wasn’t any instructions given to the tournament players as to what holes to start on, etc. we were NOT part of tournament.

We had 3 tee times in our group as well, so our rounds ended up being 6 hours instead of 4-4.5.

Still really like layout of course. Conditions were okay based on time of year.

Hope to have better experience if play in future.

Had a wonderful day here. Pace was a bit slow but we all know how that goes. Greens were slow and felt like they needed a mow, but otherwise really nice conditions. Only critique was they seemed understaffed. Only one woman working the bar who seemed stretched thin. Didn’t answer the phone to take our food order at the turn so we had to settle for hotdogs which was exceptional with plenty of toppings/condiments. Overall a great value and I would come back more if they let me book as a single, but they don’t.

The course is highly recommended to play. The greens were a bit slow and sneaky to read it. Generally, it is a good course but the only problem was the pace of play. I played on Wed, probably it should not be but it took so long time and had to wait for minutes at every holes. I hope it will be improved on my next visit.

Took total of 6 hours to finish 18 holes.

Every hole we had to wait. ( one group on the greens, one group on the fairway, one group on the tee, ... then us waiting.
