Gatlinburg Golf Course

This course has some amazing views of the Smokey Mountians! Additionally, the course is in fantastic condition! The front 9 was great, but the back 9 really took the cake! Challenging and the best views in the entire course. The staff was also very friendly and the carts were pretty high tech which was fun! My husband and I had a great time playing here for our anniversary!

Golf course in great conditions... slow pace of play.. but because it was the first nice day in awhile.. TONS of BUGS.. gnats.. dry friendly staff... NO DRIVING RANGE so don’t get there in advance lol..

Layout is nice. Lots of elevation changes. Staff was friendly. Not too busy

The golf course is in excellent condition and a fair test of skill. The starter ensures that golfers adhere to their tee times, but after that, you are on your own. On the fourth hole we had 4 groups stacked up. Many of the players in front of us had rented clubs and it was their first time playing golf. Young kids running around the fairways with no respect for the pace of play. No ranger on the course. Group behind us was so fed up they left after six holes.

Cart girl showed up on hole #2. During our 5hr and 45 min round, we never saw her again.

Like I stated earlier, great golf course, lousy course management.

course was wet and had to be cart path only which is very difficult because of hills. group of 4 men in front of us never offered to let us play thru. We always try to play this course when we are in town.

Really enjoyed the rainy round. Course was in excellent shape despite the weather. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Course was in excellent condition and has a challenging layout. The front and back nines play very different from each other, which made for a fun and interesting round.

Overall a nice public course... Paid 65 dollars and the carts have GPS and this 65 didnt include the use of the GPS... Aside from that was pleased

My 14 year old son and myself played today and had a great time. We both really like the layout and green were as good as you could want.

course was in good condition and very beautiful. Bugs were bad.

Course was a challenge but we had a nice enjoyable day. Very slow play.

I enjoyed playing this course and the views were really nice. My wife (who is a better golfer than I am) and I will definitely play this golf course again if we have the chance.

Having someone with course knowledge is very helpful because of blind shots and doglegs. Greens were aerated and the roll was not true. Only two water stops on course so bring your own water. This course was fun to play and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Great course with some difficult approaches to greens.

Played last week as we were staying right next door. The front was good, nice mix of holes. The par 5's were nice except for the 9th hole. Conditions of fairways were excellent and greens were good as well. Back nine was not good. There were tons of blind shots, with not good landing areas. One tee shot was down hill, completely blind to fairway and couldn't hit a driver and had nothing indicating how far until fairway ran out. Over half of back side was cart path only. Given the hilly nature and blind shots, was not fun.

GPS was extra and I couldn't get it to work. Would rather just pay an extra $5 in green fees and have the GPS available. Would have made round more enjoyable given all the blind shots.

One of the biggest perks of this course is its location and proximity to the main strip in Pigeon Forge. You also have some good views of Pigeon Forge, the Smokey Mountains, and even the tops of some roller coasters at Dolly Wood.

The course was in pretty good condition given the amount of rain the course had received.

There were a few tee boxes that had no grass, and when I say no grass, I mean not a blade of grass--not ideal.

To play this course, you have to be part billy goat. About the only time you have a decent lie is when the ball is teed up. I understand it's a course in the mountains, but some holes don't even have a landing area. Some of the hole designs don't make much sense either.

Overall, it's a bad course and it has some fun holes (especially the par 3s) but I'm not sure it's a $50/round course, especially given some of the courses that are close by.
