A great course that is always in great condition...a must play if you’re in the area!

Pace of play was at 5 hours 15 minutes because of cart path only in effect.

Disappointed

We’ve played here before and we were excited about returning to play as we’ve always enjoyed the course. But - The greens were in terrible shape. Pace started out okay, but it soon became clear there were some people playing that held up the course. We spent twice as long in the back 9 as the front because a few groups got slower and slower. This course is hilly and difficult, so really there should be a set of tees moved up for people that are rookies to speed up pace of play and inform them to “play up”. They seemed short-handed and no beverage cart for a Sunday. Very few opportunities to fill our water bottles and it was hot. The carts are fancy and There is an extra charge to use GPS in the cart (we have our own so didn’t use it), but the cart stops and slows down on steep hills, etc based on where you are on the course. I wish this fancey GPS had told the slow people in front us “pick up your ball and move on” and “stop looking for balls you will never find”. I think the money spent on these carts may have been better spent to get the greens in shape, have a Marshall to speed up play, and run a beverage cart. The person working there was doing the best they could and was friendly. The $49 per person was WAY too much for the condition the course was in and it was not fun. Sad because we really have enjoyed playing this course in the past. It’s doubtful we’ll return.

Nice, Slightly boring

The course was in very good condition overall. The clubhouse is nice. There are separate greens for putting and chipping pre-round. I also saw signs for hitting nets as well, but did not check them out.

The carts have course GPS, but you have to pay for it. Not sure why that's not included with greens fees of the fifty dollar range for a slightly above average public course.

Front 9: All nine holes are pretty much the same hole varying in lengths. Straight as an arrow with large fairways. Above average golfers probably won't have much fun on the front nine. I found myself kind of bored on the front side.

Back 9: Much more variation of shots to play, fun layout. Enjoyed the back 9 much more than the front.

Pace of play was good. Under 4 Hours for 18 and a group of 3.

Great Mountain Course

Loved the design of this course! Lots of elevation changes, blind tee shots and the crazy par 3 12th that drops 200’ is just fun! Course was in wonderful condition. Fairways were beautiful and greens rolled fast and true. This course is evidently cart path only a lot of the time so you will have to walk up and down some hills. We didn’t mind

Challenging

The course looks easier than it is. The different elevations adds to the challenge. We did not get info on pin locations and the directions to the next hole were not always marked. We did enjoy the round.

Great course

This is a truly amazing golf course with a great layout. The pace of play is kind of slow mainly due to it being cart path only. There were also issues with the in cart computer systems. But other than that amazing course

Unless you want to walk ALOT skip this course

The first thing to happen was we were over charged from the rate on golf now so please check your receipt. They did correct that however. It was a pretty course but we were told as we were teeing off that it was cart path only. I asked if they made exceptions since my father was with us. He is older, loves to golf but doesn’t get around as well as he used to. They explained no exceptions and cart will shut down if too far from path because it was too muddy. We started play and it was completely dry and 84 degrees. Not sure if no one checked or if this is just standard answer they tell. Needless to say it is a mountain course with a lot of walking up and down hills to get to your ball even when you hit the middle of the fairway. It significantly slows play.

April is defenitly too early in the season to play this course. Course condition werde very poor. I doubt this course can even be fun when conditions improved.
