Gatlinburg Golf Course

Good variety of shots required. Scenery was very nice.

The course was in great condition, and the greens were phenomenal. However, as a first-time player, it was tough with several blind shots. Unfortunately, the staff implied we were playing slowly, which was surprising since no one was waiting behind us. Otherwise, it was a good experience.

Course was in great shape, greens rolled evenly and at a good pace. Very hilly and undulating in areas. Fun course with an unexpected layout. Front nine was wide open and back nine was narrow and difficult. You’ll have to play the back nine by finding a good landing area. I highly recommend this course if you’re visiting Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg. Greens fees are right where they need to be.

Greatly appreciated the fast check in and quick to get out. I had a tee time before arriving and was sent out early, that is always a plus for me.

… very exciting GC, varied holes, difficult greens … but most of golfers ignore „your right to repair their own ball marks“ … that means the greens not looking very good 👎🏽

Hole 12 is wonderful experience for every golfer 👍🙋‍♂️⛳️

The course layout is very challenging, when hitting the ball well, low scores can be achieved. The views are spectacular. Course conditions are fantastic. Pace of play is reasonable. Will definitely recommend this course to friends coming to the area.

The Gatlinburg Golf course is an excellent public course with plenty of challenge for the seasoned golf, yet manageable for newer golfers. The front nine is more open with plenty of hills. The back nine is much tighter with even more traverse terrain. The fairways and greens are in excellent condition. The bunkers had good sand. I played in October and the weather was perfect. The course was more impressive than I expected and I would play it again in a heartbeat.

It was great playing in the mountains, loved the elevation changes and pace of play. My young boys and I played twilight which was perfect for us because the course was slower.

We were a little bummed that the clubhouse closed at 6pm. Our hope had been to go in for a bit to eat and to sit on the patio for a bit.

Pleasantly surprised with this course and will definitely play again when back in the area.

Played as part of a Deal Time and not sure it was worth the $55 we paid. Definitely wouldn't have been happy at $80

Greens had been recently aerated and were bumpy and inconsistent on speed. They were also inconsistent on approach shots with some holding and other rolling way out.

Course lay out had too many blind shots with the cart GPS warning you of them but no way for groups to communicate the way was clear, On top of that roughly half the holes are cart path only meaning walking up and down steep hills to get to your ball. Those same elevation changes meant you need a range finder and to bring multiple clubs to your airway shots.

Several tee boxes were in rough shape and others had such thick grass that even using a tee on some of the par 3's, your club could get hung up.

Fairways were a mixed bag, some were great and others with too thick grass. Rough was always a challenge to get down to the ball.

Layout was visibly pleasant and hole 12 is pretty special (teeing off 165 ft above the hole).

I won't be playing here again.

Fantastic course lay out. Thoroughly enjoyed the round. Will highly recommend the course.
