Waiting tome
Upon arrival there were approx 20 golfers waiting for carts, for either course.
Tee times were very delayed. There were carts parked with cubs on them and staff were very slow in the realization of this and allowed ppl to keep carts although many were waiting.
The wait time at each hole was greater than 7 min and sometimes waiting for 2 groups. The group ahead of us had 2 carts and 3 sets of clubs and 6 golfers.
Half of the group in front of us walked and not quickly , I might add.
Our tee time was 152. We teed off at 210. As a result of the incredible wait times the 2 of us got in only 15 holes, we paid for 18 and fully expected to play 18.
In leaving the course at 515 ( after golfing only 15 holes) we passed an 8 fella group on the 18 th hole and there were 2 groups of 4 waiting to play that 18th.. in the past I have enjoyed my play time at Cimarron, yesterday I did not enjoy our play.

Slow slow slow
Course was in good shape, pace of play was terrible no in course ranger and split times to close, took us over 4 hours to play an exec course. We played a regulation course next day in a half hour less time. Maybe just had a bad pro managing course that day.

Fun to play and in great condition. We played up a tee from normal position to add additional challenge and distance. My short game obviously needs work and this is an enjoyable way to do it.

Very slow play
Took 4 hours to play this par 3 course. No room to park my car in the parking lot. Had to park on the street and carry clubs in. No time to warm up because I had to wait for carts to be returned before I could get a cart. Pace of play was terrible — 4 hours for a round that should have taken more than 3. No marshalls to keep golfers on pace. Followed a group of five on the back nine with empty holes ahead of them who had no clue about letting faster players through.

I have played here before and have enjoyed the challenge of this executive course even though there has been poor regulation to ensure a reasonable pace of play. However, this time management made the decision to turn on all the irrigation BEFORE 5:30 when there was still quite active play on the fairways. I knew when I started at 3:20 I would not play 18 before the sun went down behind the mountain but when I started I was forced to wait. The pace of play was ridiculously slow. There were even groups of 5 playing together. Then, the sprinklers to clear the course! It will be a while before I chose this course again, lovely as it is.

Really good par 3 course but …
All good except today they messed up with golf carts . Had to wait 45 mins to get a cart . 40-50 golfers waiting for carts . People were pretty chill about it . Course , pace of play and staff all good …. great place to take beginners and to work on iron play.

Late start .no riding or walking carts available
We were over an hour late starting due to a shortage of carts. The option of walking the Par 3 Pebble course was not available even though there were no riding carts available. There was also no empty bag for my wife’s clubs.
They blamed it on a frost delay in the early morning but they should have anticipated the need for carts and rental clubs for the large groups booked on the Boulder course. Not happy with how they handled a foreseeable problem. Having said that, some of the staff were very helpful and courteous under the circumstances.

Nice Par 3
Great condition but slow pace. Hard to keep a rhythm when always waiting.
Need 10 minute tee times.

challenging par 3
I hadn't played for quite a while and thought I was signing up for a quickie executive course. But this was a delightful surprise. Busy but well organized and steady movement. Friendly staff. Interesting topography. Will come back

Perfect option for enjoyable 18 holes. Fun, varied distances allowing use of multiple clubs.. don’t miss the GPS on the cart figure out distances.
