Cimarron Golf Club - Pebble Par-3 Course

Rode the Blacks (3020/58.0/98) with FirstFlightFX-101 mid day on a GN Hot Deal. Sunny, calm and in the low 100's, we had the course literally to ourselves, so no POP challenges. Thanks to Chuck for coming down!

Links style executive layout that is in pretty decent summer shape. Nice course to work on your irons, I frequently hit almost every iron in my bag on this layout.

Bermuda tees were just okay, part lush, part hardpan with many divots as you would expect with 17 par 3's.

Bermuda fairways do not come into play much, but they were semi lush as is the Bermuda rough.

Few actual sand traps on this course, but what they have were decent under COVID-19 no rake conditions. Many waste areas if you get wide of the rough can come into play.

Bermuda greens were punched 3 weeks ago and were mostly recovered. Firm, middle of the summer bumpy and medium slow. Surprisingly few ball marks.

Customer service was very good, quick efficient check-in after pre paying online. No on course services with COVID-19, but they had drinks available from the pro shop on the turn and we got some ice. Carts have GPS to the F/M/B of the greens. Normally plenty of water stations on the course, but all were dry today. All grass driving range. Recommended.

This course for me is the best executive layout I’ve played. The holes are challenging and help my GIR (Greens In Regulation) practice. I hope to translate shots made here onto the larger courses.

Greens, tee boxes and surrounding fairways are well maintained for true shot making. True in the sense of not having unfair, of poor lies of the ball. Completely enjoyable, equitable and beneficial for my short iron game.

Mostly short holes, but a few needing long irons. Almost no bunkers, but most greens have fall-offs in front and/or sides which require full carry shots. Fairways and greens in good condition. Fun course to play but a good test of your accuracy!

This is by far the best Par 3 I have ever played. The pace of play was good and the course was in excellent condition. Highly recommended.

Well maintained, great views of the mountains and best of all - course is not routed through a housing tract. Greens are rolling great but holes were not cut because of the C19 virus.

Pretty slow pace of play. The couple ahead of us decided to play from the blue tees. Did not match the skill level. Course is in good shape!

Nice course with challenging greens. Great backdrop for viewing between shots.

Course is great for working on short game. A few rough spots and greens inconsistent for weight but otherwise enjoyable to play

Enjoyed playing this course today. Some tough holes playing from blue tees (some over 200 yards). Would be great for some new young players as it’s the short game that matters.
