Challenging Par 3 course
This is par 3 with half the holes at 160 yrs or longer. Nice layout, good greens (a few were pokmarked), reasonable cost.
Nice
Beautiful well groomed par 3 course that offers some 200 yard holes to help stretch your length.
Would feel very comfortable recommending the course to anyone.
I’m a high handicapper that got paired with a friendly couple that had a four handicap but felt gentleman and able to have a great time.
Great Golf Course
My husband and I really enjoy Pebble. We can get in a game of 9 or 18. We enjoy seeing the road runners and bunnies running through the course. We played at 2 when prices go down. The only problem with that is carts are not back and you have to wait until they come in, so sometimes your tee time is bumped 20 to 30 minutes later.
Hard greens
I like the Cimarron courses but both have really hard greens, makes for a lot of chip and run. Staff is friendly and pace was good. We played 18 holes of par 3's in under 3 hours.
Just a lot of fun
If you have 3 hours, this is a great par 55 course. Facility is great, staff great and price is excellent. Do it!
Pebble course
Played the Blacks (3020/58,0/98) with Page twilight using Forelinx. POP was slow for an Exec course, slightly over 3H on a paced course in sunny, breezy conditions around 75.
Links style executive layout that is in excellent shape. Great place to work on your irons, I frequently hit almost every iron in my bag on this layout. They were so busy today that they were having to wait on carts to come in before they could send people out, but were running right on time.
Tees were lush but many divots as you would expect with 17 par 3's.
Fairways do not come into play much, but they were lush as is the Rough.
Few actual sand traps on this course, but what they have were mediocre. Many waste areas if you get wide of the rough can come into play.
Greens were smooth, excellent bordering on immaculate. Surprisingly few ball marks, they putted medium fast speed and were consistent, holding high approaches with little run out.
Customer service was good, quick efficient check-in with both the starter and the pro shop. Saw the drink cart twice. Carts have GPS to the F/M/B of the greens. Plenty of water stations on the course. All grass driving range. Recommended.
Pebble course, great par 3!
Rode the Blacks (3020/53.4/78) in 2H, 15M, paired with Greg twilight in sunny, breezy conditions in the low 70's. Both Cimarron courses were partially washed away in the February, 2019 torrential rains that resulted in the wash being about 10' deep with fast moving water. They have done an INCREDIBLE job after the place was closed for repairs for most of 2019. I have never seen the course look and play this good. John Fought design, Links style executive layout with an excellent mixture of holes. Very fun short course with 17 par 3's and one short par 4. The par 3's feature a couple holes over 200 from the Blacks, with the shortest at 118 with a good mixture of lengths in between. I used almost every iron in my bag on tee shots. Few sand traps and #18 is the only hole with a water hazard. Nice place to work on your irons. Tees were lush and nicely maintained with only a few spots that needed divot attention. Fairways do not come into play much, but they were lush and well maintained. Rough was lush, mowed down with good coverage and was nice to play from. Sand traps were below average. Hard packed even thought they had been recently raked. Many waste areas if you get wide of the rough can come into play. Greens are very large for a shorter course. Firm and putted medium speed with few ball marks. Chipping is over and around mounds, so you have to be creative &/or precise. GPS on the basic carts is to the front/middle/back of the green only. All grass driving range. The customer service was good, quick efficient check-in with the pro shop. No drink cart. Recommended.
Great par 3
Only 1 water trap and no sand ones! Relaxing and enjoyable. Very busy and people in front and behind.
Great for beginners
Took my grandson his first time in a couple of years. We had a wonderful time with no pressure for being hackers. Still played in 3 1/2 hours.
HARD AND FAST
Course is in great condition, greens are smooth. They are also very fast and hard. With all the undulations and size, this is the challenge for this course. Good variety of lengths of the holes, and the 18th will put a little speed in your heart beat.
Overall, a nice place to play to sharpen your iron game, and REALLY work on your chipping an putting!
Fun and Challenging
Don’t let the executive course description fool you. Plenty of challenges for a fun round if you want commit 4.5 hours for golf
Spectacular golf experience
Great course with tremendous views. Challenging fairways and greens. Will play again and again.
Best par 3 course in the area.
This course test your skill with your second shot.. course was in great condition. Fun place to spend 3 hours.
Cimmoron par 3
Excellent, friendly staff. Great course to warm up on after not having played for a few months
Also good for high handicappers. Course was in great shape, greens were true.
Would come again
