Palm Beach National Golf Course

My experience at Palm Beach County Golf Club was disappointing. There was no notification provided about temporary tees, which significantly affected the overall playing experience. The course itself appeared to be in su-par condition and generally not well maintained, with several areas showing clear signs that routine upkeep was lacking.

Additionally, it was concerning to see staff repeatedly crossing fairways, tee boxes, etc while players where actively teeing off and making approach shots. This gave the impression that courtesy was not part of the culture.

Overall, between the lack of communication, the subpar course conditions, and the unprofessional staff behavior, the experience fell well below expectations. I would hope to see better course maintenance, improved communication with players, and more attentive staff management in the future.

Our group had an amazing day. The new clubhouse bar in grill is so cool and the driving range is the best I’ve ever seen. The greens are beautiful, best we played in Florida.

The price is an overreach for the course conditions. With 4 or 5 tee boxes torn up and hitting from a random spot in the fairway should have a deep discount on the price of the round. Fortunately the young man at the counter did issue us rainchecks for 9 holes.

Pulling in to the parking lot, I had high hopes. Nice clubhouse, cool driving range, vibes were high. That's about where the highlights ended. I left very disappointed with my experience here. First off, there didn't seem to be a whole lot of organization when it came to sending groups off. We had the 11:50am tee time. Ended up teeing off around 12:15pm. There were multiple tee boxes that were absolutely burnt out and left you hitting off of dirt. Fairways and greens were fine, but nothing to write home about. There was one beverage cart out on the course and in our 5 hour round, we only saw it 2 times. After our round, we took our clubs off the cart and had them stood up. I heard a crash of clubs hitting the ground. I look over and my buddies bag was laying on the ground with no attention being paid to it by the cart attendants (who had just finished wiping off our clubs). For a course that seems to be hanging its hat on being an upbeat and energetic vibe, I found it to be a pretty big drag. I wish I would have spent the extra money to golf somewhere else.

We haven't played here since May and the clubhouse wasn't done. We were excited to play and grab a bite to eat at the clubhouse. The pace of play was way too slow. We probably won't return because of that and we are players with a discount card.

I played the back nine twice the week I was down from Massachusetts so I didn’t see the whole course but what I did was in great shape and had challenging features at least for me. The clubhouse/bar with attached driving range had a nice vibe and the staff was very friendly.

Nice amentities, staff was over the top helpful. Course was in decent shape. The only drawback, was course was over booked. We waited on every shot and every tee box. No way to get into any rythem.

I’ve played this course once or twice a year over the past 10 years. The course has remained unchanged, which is ok.The fairways are generous, but the greens are well protected by lots of sand. It a good layout and is in reasonable condition for a Florida course that won’t cost you $150 or more. The greens were fast and smooth. Fairways were green despite the lack of recent rain. Bunkers were in excellent condition. The staff is always friendly; including the ranger/bartender handing out the complimentary shot of flavored rum.

The big changes have been the construction of anew clubhouse and a Trackman range. Carts seemed new as well. I will play here again.

Slow play, no ranger until we said something, older golfer, sort of retired.

Course needs work. Staff - to a person - were extremely nice!
