Golfer Reviews
Quick Florida round
Great course and fantastic atmosphere. Course was in good shape for being out of season. Love the party vibe with the range and “rum ranger”. Great experience on a nice course layout.
Nice course but different.
I called ahead and spoke to Nadia (Golf director) to see what to expect since we were driving a little over a hour. First time playing here. Friendly staff. Course roughs were high due to recent rains. Fairways, traps and greens were in good shape for a public course (7 out of 10). Play was slow as they allow more than 4 to play together. We had to wait on a fivesome for 13 of the 18 holes either off the tees or approach shots. We saw a group of 8 as we were finishing to front nine. The atmosphere around the clubhouse and range was fun with music playing and multiple targets to hit if that is what you are looking for. They are in the process of building a new clubhouse with a restaurant but have a food truck at the range on the mean time. I was told alcoholic shots were available as well as other snacks from the cart girl who drove past 3 or 4 times. We will give Palm Beach National another try for sure once the clubhouse and restaurant are complete.
Busy course
If you’re heading here be aware. There are no toilets, only at hole 18. No starter so it’s a free for all. Took 5 hours with buggy, no one repairs pitch marks, rakes bunkers, follows golf etiquette. Staff very friendly, free rum was nice. Will not return, better golf elsewhere!!
In pregress
No clubhouse or bar
Staff amazing
Traps need more sand and less rocks
Great course although it does not drain well.
Great course, wonderful time, friendly staff. Fantastic value.
Excellent fairways and greens.
The course does not drain well so it is difficult to navigate on rainy days.
Car path in need of reconstruction in several holes.
From the point of view of grass quality, fairways, tees and greens, the quality of the greenkeepers' work is excellent.
My home course
I always enjoy this golf course, pace of play, personnel’s, and Rudy the starter is good and very nice and I will keep on playing this course, my home course. Home course
Great value for money
Palm beach national was well worth the visit. The greens were fast and true. All the employees were very nice and it couldn’t have been a better day. Would definitely play here again. Can’t beat it for the price.
Awesome round
Mike D and the crew have this place playing awesome. The Top Tracer Golf on the range gives accurate readings of your ball speed and distance. The greens are in excellent condition. They hold the ball well but also have a great speed on putts
great cource
is a great cousrse and great to there coustomers and alway giving free stuff
New Clubhouse being built, friendly staff
The course is in repair. They are building a new clubhouse - beginning stages. Sand bags were at each green so obviously they are working on the greens. Greens were fast - some aeration recently. GREAT PRICE on GOLFNOW at $17 with a cart. Regular price is $39 for a weekday
Always fun
Nice track, super friendly staff.
Always a good time.
Really awkward round unfortunately
I was super excited to play here in the Palm Beach area being on business travel from out of state. I brought my clubs and looked around for somewhere to play a couple days in advance and ended up booking an 822am Friday morning tee time. The comparable courses in the area all had available tee times in the $35-55 range but Palm Beach National was $79 so I thought it was signing myself up for a premium experience.
Unfortunately, come tee time, I show up and pay nearly $100 for green fees and a warm up bucket just to be met with the starter ushering us around saying we need to start on hole 10 and make it around quick because of a tournament having a shotgun start at 1pm. My playing partner said he had booked for $60ish and had never heard of anyone paying $79 for non weekend off season price there, so I'm not sure what that was about.
No clubhouse (under construction), no food or drink, hence no breakfast (food truck guy wasn't there at 8am), no coffee anywhere (including the food truck later), my cart didn't have divot mix, none of the teeboxes had any ball washers (???), the tournament people were on every tee box setting stuff up and running around the course the whole time. Top golf range was nice, however, and course conditions were definitely above average.
I was so bummed by my Palm Beach golf experience, I finished up and drove straight to Boynton Links and played 18 holes with cart and empty course for $39, finished in under 3 hours and enjoyed myself twice as much. 36 holes in a day and shot the same score both times, so overall a fine day but really bummed my expectations were so off from reality coming from across the country.
In a few years once the clubhouse is done and the situation is more established, I think there could be a lot more potential for the $79 weekday price tag to be worth it but until then stick to the range or be sure you know what you're getting yourself into.
