Cotton Creek at The Craft Farms Resort

Layout of Cotton Creek is nice, however, rainy weather had the course in rough shape. Fairways were swampy and the greens had not recovered well from being aerated. Generally, disappointing, but clearly high potential.

I had not played here for over 20 years. I was looking forward to getting back to a familiar old course. It is 2023. Any course that charges over $100 for a round should have GPS on the carts. Another advantage of GPS is it allows the marshalls to monitor pace of play. Pace was not outrageous, but longer than it should be, a 5 hr round. Course conditions were fair. Greens were shaggy and slow. Many other choices in the area, I’ll wait another 20 years before I come back.

The course was absolutely beautiful and had great scenery. The staff also made our time here fantastic. When we were done with our 18, a Nick and Pete came out to our car and helped us with everything and really made us feel like we were at home. The waitresses inside also were very funny to talk to.

For a course that has a lot of tourists playing. There is no map of the hole.anywhere. Not on the score card or tee box. You are just hitting blind on a course with the majority of holes that dog leg around trouble. You have no idea what direction some of the holes go from the tee box. Horrible decision from management. If you are from out of town, don’t play here

Enjoyed the course so much, canceled the tee time the next day, for a different course, and rebooked to play Cotton Creek.

Great greens, fairways roll. Great staff. Paola was great at the pro shop.

Good amount of water but plent of bailout areas. Was a fun course to play.

Pace of play was slow because a group of 5 club members were in front of us. Also a course charging $95 should have ball washers-none to be found.
