Challenging course
Course was fun to play and the staff was very friendly.
January golf vacation
Course was fantastic. Staff was even better! Very accommodating, polite, and gracious southern hospitality. I highly recommend!

Great course
Very well taken care of course. In terms of maintenance you run into patchy greens at times. Surprising considering the rest of the course is pretty immaculate. Very nice staff. Really enjoyed our round here.
Nice Course
Course was in very good shape, tee boxes were not full of divots, fairways were forgiving when taking a divot, not hard. Played after significant rain and course drained well with no standing water anywhere. Staff was amazing, Bobby our starter was great. I highly recommend this course.
Give me a break with the pace of play
We were rushed from the moment we stepped out of the car in the parking lot to the moment we got back in the car in the parking lot.The attendants were literally there rushing us to get our stuff out of cart as we pulled up. There was never any one waiting on a shot, there was never any one even on the tee box behind us all the same hole, yet every four holes we ran into a ranger that told us we were playing behind schedule and to hurry up or we would be escorted to the next hole. We finished in 4:15 on a 100° day. That’s less than 15 minutes per hole and apparently that’s not fast enough. Been coming here for years, but never again.

Great layout and staff
First of all, there is plenty of staff and they are super friendly and helpful. This was my first impression and it was great. The course was well-maintained and the greens were the best I’ve played in the Gulf Shores area. A challenge if you are not hitting it well. If you are striking it well, there are plenty of birdies out there.

My first time on the Palmer design. Very, very nice. Absolutely no rough. Made pace of play fantastic. Great staff. Great facilities. Friendly group of starters at the first tee. TWO REASONS I WON'T GIVE 5 STARS OVERALL....NO GPS ON CARTS TO TELL YOU WHERE YOU ARE GOING! NO WATER ON COURSE TO DRINK!! 95 degrees! Saw beverage cart ONE time!! Otherwise, I highly, highly recommend this course! I will be back.
