The Links at Bodega Harbour is conveniently situated along the Sonoma County Coast, only an hour from San Francisco and two hours from Sacramento. Its location perched above the Pacific also provides stunning ocean views. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr.in 1978, the back nine was the original course before the front nine was added nine years later. Jones designed a traditional Scottish links layout complete with rolling fairways and fast, undulating greens. There are almost 100 bunkers strategically situated throughout as well as thick patches of native coastal rough that are just waiting to swallow even slightly errant shots. The golf course is not long but it requires both skill and strategy. The final three holes are not only the most challenging, they also boast the most breathtaking views.

Beautiful views, slow play

With it being right out on the ocean almost every hole has an awesome view! Unfortunately you are going to get a lot of chances to enjoy that view as they stack up the tee times so close that we were already stuck waiting by the 2nd tee and spent the rest of the round having to wait on every shot.

The layout and maintenance of the course was great though and I will definitely plan on trying to play here again.

We always play this course when we are in the Napa Valley. Well worth the drive out to the coast.

The views from each hole are spectacular and really enjoy playing this course at this time of year.

Enjoyed the live music in the clubhouse after our round, a pleasant surprise and nice treat with our drinks.

Bodega Harbor

This course is always beautiful but the weekend rates have gotten quite high. It costs $110 to play on the weekend and I was lucky to find a “hot deal” on Golfnow for $87.99! They do give a discount to locals but the pro shop didn’t tell me this until after I booked the reservation. Given the condition of the course it should be a lot cheaper because there are a ton of divots that are not repaired properly. All and all an enjoyable round but I believe the green fee should be $20 cheaper if this is the new normal of the condition of the course. The greens had some noticeable damage too.

Not my Favorite course

This course is tight with big windows on homes and if your not to good i dont recommend playing here unless you have 3k to pay for a broken window Course layout is ok but needs attention in some areas is it worth $$77 / 82 dollars No no in my opinion there are some nice ocean views Overall I would not come back staff was really nice its just far out to drive to and not worth my time
