Staff Unfriendly
Man in pro shop extremely unprofessional and dropping F- bombs because he didn't have prepaid time showing on his tee sheet. Only when I called Tee Off to confirm did he honor but was not happy with the situation. Not sure if Tee Off or the course was at fault for no reservation showing. I have email confirmation to show it went thru
Tee box’s and sand traps OH MY!
Had a tee time at 7:10 didn’t tee off till almost 7:45 -8 and for me that’s a bit annoying I’m a very on time person so that started me off to an annoying round. Pace of play was terrible , waited on nearly every hole for the 4 some In Front of use to walk to their balls Instead of having the course etiquette of using your CART! Which makes it even harder to get into any type of rhythm, Tee box’s we’re terrible never flat anywhere and just all beat up. After all that this course is already a gimmick type layout so needless to say it was not an enjoyable day of golf sadly.
Layout
Haven’t been there in years, but the new layout is more challenging than before.
Slowest round ever
Late start, they let 5 somes out, no Marshall. A little over 3 hours to play 9 holes. Front desk apologized but would not give credit because tee time booked on TeeOff.

only two of us but a great partner. had a fantastic time and possibly a golf fanatic friend for life.
Always a fun course

The course is in great shape minus tee boxes. Pace of play was surprisingly fast for once.
The biggest issue was slow play
The course is in okay condition. They’re lots of bear spot in the fairway. Since I was only playing for enjoyment I simply moved the ball to where there was grass. This should be given priority attention. The slow play only allowed more time to stand in the fairway and count beat sports - joke.
Selfishly I didn’t want to review so it doesn’t get too crowded
Super nice course maintained great and the greens were fast, the staff was cool, the carts were nice. Absolutely one of the best public courses in the Sacramento area and a bangin value.
Good challenge
Haven't played here in a couple of years and found it a good challenge. Need more water on the course and they need water/towels in the ball washers
