Cherry Island Golf Course

We go behind a two couples from Japan, non-english speaking that were 2 holes behind by the third hole. Not courses fault, but they didn't have any marshal's and phone went to voicemail, that is the courses fault. Played after a storm, car path's only, but course was still in good shape. Greens crew did not have time to clean up some downed branches and a million leaves

There are a few bodies of water on the course that apparently have fish in them and there was a half dozen or so teenagers running around between fishing spots while loudly yelling obscenities at each other. They had no respect for the golfers who were obviously just a few yards away. That’s not to mention the atrocious pace of play - almost 3 hours on the front 9.

Terrible pace of play. We quit after the 13th hole. There was no marshal on the course to remedy the problem. It would have taken 6 hours to complete the round.

Had a nice group, fun, good conversation. Only my second time here, really enjoyed the first time. Second go around you really realized the quirkiness of the course. Some really off holes. Layout is very typical published muny. Lots of crossover type holes, size by side, lots of incoming! Haha

Might be better during the week? 5 hours with a bad back is just too much for me.
