User to be a nice course
I remember this course way back when the Airforce left, was one of the nicest courses. Now it's in real bad shape. How can the Greens get so beat up? Fairways aren't much better but they still want $50 to play there. No wonder the course is empty.
Course review
The greens are in terrible condition. They are dried out, patches of sand, balls do not roll true. Worse condition I’ve ever seen on this course.

the greens had brown patches and were extremely bumpy. We had crab grass growing on the greens. I would not play this course again until the greens are in a much better state.
Greens Need Some TLC
Overall, the course conditions were good except for the greens. The greens were very dry and bumpy making the greens speeds inconsistent. The layout is fair with generously wide fairways. It was still fun despite the rough green conditions.
Played several times here and this time was the first time I was underwhelmed and quite honestly disappointed with the condition of the course. I have come accustomed to a certain level of quality when playing here over the years and was sad to find the condition it was in this time around. Appears greens may have recently been overseeded so greens were extremely rough, fairways spotty and patchy. Seemed and felt a bit overgrown. Please take as constructive criticism only. Will return and hopefully to the quality I course I have played in the past.
What’s going on with the Greens
Mather used to have really good fast greens this time of the year but now some of greens have dead spots where you have to move the ball away from those bumpy dead spots to be able to putt.
Great pace for Sunday afternoon
I was expecting a slow round with a 3 pm Sunday tee time. However got around in under 4 hours. Course in decent shape with good layout
Not worth it.
Will not be going back anytime soon. Course was not in great shape. Greens were punched 3 months ago and still not fully recovered. Tee boxes not great either. They’re also putting groups out every 8 minutes. At $45 for twilight it was not worth it. Can’t imagine paying $70 for prime time rate. Just insane.
Good Value
Really enjoyed the course. Layout of the course was fun. Greens were in sub par conditions. Felt like I missed a few birdie putts and several par putts due to poor greens. I would definitely come back and play again for the price if the greens are in better condition. Would recommend to anyone.

The greens were punched three weeks ago. They are still bumping.

Firmest greens in the valley?
The course was in great shape. They're punching greens today and tomorrow. Those greens were the firmest and fastest I've played in a long time. I'm talking gap wedge to front of green rolling to the back fringe. The tees could use some TLC. The rough was pretty thick.
