Beautiful day at Mather.
Mather is in very nice shape. The sand traps could use some care. The tops are overgrown and overhang the traps a bit making it more challenging to get out. Once we got off the first tee which was running late, the pace of play was good. A beautiful day spent in a park setting.

The course was in good condition.
The greens had been recently punched, but healing. For a Saturday the pace of play was acceptable. This is an old course and therefore some renovations would certainly be beneficial.

Punched greens
With the exception of the punched greens, the course was in “good” condition. This is an old course in need of renovation for the price. It is fun, has long par 4s that make it challenging. The layout is “good”
