Good golf On a hot day
This is my second time there. The weather was extremely hot. But kept the course running smooth. This is my second time in there. The course is typically flat. Good thing about the course it has some Par 5’s. For sure great value. They also have A golf range. Been there a few times. Every time I’ve been there you hit off the lawn
Awesome Time Out
Mather is a great course to play. All around.
Wide open tee times and fairways, too. Immaculate putting greens can help in lowering scores. The Scenery pulls you and your game in through the dog leg holes, turkeys, hawks, and jets. Great food and tv for the game.
Excellent Golf Course
From the moment I arrived I was welcomed and had a most enjoyable round. Every member of staff was helpful and friendly. Course was in good shape and fair for an 18 hsndicappet like me. Definitely plamong here regularly. Thank you
Summer golf
Summertime golf in hot weather, there is a course was a little dry the Greens were good shape.. and join my round of golf all able to do you finish 18 holes in under three hours. Marshals were great getting plenty of cold water. Enjoyed round of golf.
A solid track
Played on a Monday in the early afternoon as a single. Pace was excellent as I finished in just under 3h. Fairways in fine shape, greens well maintained, if unimaginative. Bunkers are hard-packed sand, not great, but not atypical of muni's. Probably the only negative comment on the course. Big difference in yardage between blue and silver so you can play a nice easy round or make it a bit more difficult! Carts were clean and worked fine, snack bar/restaurant was nice. I'll come back.
Followed a tournament
Played with two regulars. Both could not believe the pace of play being that slow. Really hot day. All the water jugs filled with ice water, greens putted well. I’ll be going back!
Summer golf
With the weather being hot and playing golf in the afternoon it was still fun playing at Mather golf course. Given the heat there were some dry spots on the fairways and greens were in good shape. Would love to play here again.
Course is a little bit dry but excellent pace
I’ve golfed Mather quite a few times; was in a twosome and not many others on the course ended up finishing the round in 3 1/2 hours. Course is a little bit dry which is good for roll out on your drives but probably needs a little bit more watering. Course is relatively easy with wide open fairways but as always you still have to have decent ball striking to score decently.. Driving range and putting green are very close to the first tee which makes it convenient. Not many hazards on the course other than trees and a small amount of water so you can get away with some shots you normally couldn’t. .Staff is always friendly and I enjoy this course when I’m trying to work on the swing a little bit.
