very nice facility
We had a great day , greeted by staff and were able to tee it up a bit early.. pace of play was quick with no problems. Weather was gorgeous with a bit of a wind.
Two great tracks
My son and I were set to play a round at the Ranch course on Fathers Day . We enjoyed it so much we took advantage of their very reasonable "turn" rate and played the Legends side too.
Worth the drive
Drove from sacramento, great course good value fast play. I'll be back.
great challenge and value as always, but...
all the challenge you can handle
all the value you want
fairways and greens in excellent shape
sand traps need maintenance attention, or I need to stay out of them : )
Good course but far drive and hot
The day was hot and the tee time was too late in the day. Also the course is a ways back off the highway 5 and it takes a while to get there
Good day
Good day only thing about this course is rarely see a marshal the 4 some in front of us hold not have played the blues and had open holes in front of them
Good, Challenging Course
Course was in very good condition all over. Tees, fairways and greens all in good condition. Chose the gold tees, which turned out to be red tees almost all the way around, but it was still challenge enough for my 22 handicap skill, or lack there of. Appeared as though some club member or members with fading skills refused to play from RED tees, so most Gold tees were moved forward. In my defense, it was a very windy day and fairly chilly. Glad we didn't wear shorts! But, no fault of the course. Will play here again if we get back to this area of California.
Love the course layout and condition!
This course is great, the layout, level of dificulty and price! I recomend both courses to anyone who wants to play a great course with a great price...
Tough and long
The Ranch course at Diablo is a challenging course. The length slowly builds until you reach a tough stretch of holes starting with 12. The course itself is in pretty good shape and the greens run consistent from hole to hole. The course has a set of combo tees to help those like to play the blue tees but feel that just under 7,000 yards is too long.
This course is great all around!
Diablo Grande is one of my favorite golf courses in the area for the price. It is very well maintained and challenging for any individual. The scenery is wonderful and you are usually able to see a lot of wildlife. All around, a great golf course that you will not be disappointed with!
Great value, professional and friendly staff
First time at Diablo Grande and I plan to play again. I found the course to be very fair for my skill level and although I didn't break a 100, the knowledge I gained will benefit me.
Staff was very helpful and the clubhouse, pro shop was excellent.
Challenging course , great value to be had.
Some very tough holes on the Ranch course will challenge almost any golfer. Though a more relaxing time can be had on the Legends, everyone should give the Ranch at least a few rounds especially at the current "Hot" deals.
diablo grande
Excellent course. Hot deals are great values for a plethora of courses in the Bay Area. Diablo Grande is a stretch of a drive though.
greens in great shape for being winter
Playing very nice for the end of November. Not to expensive either.
Good risk/reward options
Course was in great shape. Greens had been aerated about 2-3 weeks before, but seemed to roll true, albeit a bit slower because of some sand remaining. Greens should be perfect in a couple more weeks.
Aerated greens
The greens were aerated recently, so the greens were extremely slow and bumpy. The layout of the course is awesome. Not too easy, not too tough. Also the rest of the course was in great shape
beautiful golf course for where it is located
i have played both the ranch and the legends course's and both are great to play.back in the foothills, and away from the traffic.you can see the wild life of deer, and coyotes, rattlesnakes and lots for cottentail rabbits and squirels. the greens are great to putt on with gentle to ruff slopes.not to many flat putts.fairways are well kept with hardley any or no roughs. i will play again when i get the right price on golfnow.com.
First Class course and operation
Becasue the greens had been recently areated, the price for the round had been reduced drastically. Given the quality of everything at the course this was a fantastic deal. I would have paid twice as much and still thought I got a good deal.
Poor
Long drive for disappointing service. No notice for aeration and no compensation .
pars a good score
Par golf on the ranch course is a excellent advantag.the rough is way too high,so,hit it long and straight
Mistakenly rated the Diablo Grande Ranch Course 1 Stars, should be 5 Stars
