San Vicente Golf Resort

What a disappointment I have played here before and it was in better shape. Fairways were painted dead grass, terrible. The greens were ok lighting quick down hill putts, slow uphill putts. Paid $99.00 there are better courses for that. Cottonwood and Singing Hills both better shape. I won’t be back for a while.

We'll definitely return to that golf course love the greens and of course layout

I was in La Jolla on vacation and I got snowed in (my flights back to Buffalo, NY were postponed for a few days due to weather back East) so I played an extra round of golf while in California. I am happy that I chose to play that round at San Vincente. The course was in great off-season shape with solid fairways and quick but true greens. The layout is challenging but fun and the pace of play was fantastic (3 hours and 25 minutes).

I highly recommend this course and will play here again every time I visit the area!

Was my first time to San Vincente yesterday, beautiful course, layout and challenging fast greens. The whole Bermuda course was cut really short so they have the fairways painted. You can putt off the green in some cases, wouldn’t really say there is any rough on the whole course. Purposeful put obstacles, what made it fun. I’d like to go back in spring/summertime when the grass grows back and is more plush. No dirt patches in fairways just cut really short

If you’re in the mood to challenge your golf skills then this is the place! Think you’re a good putter? Think again because this course has some of the most challenging greens in California. Don’t believe me, try it and see for yourself!

Undulating fast greens ate my score. All else in great condition.

Even though we were moving along on a 4 hour round, young whippersnappers hit into us then swore up a storm when we said cut it out.

It is a great course with beatiful sightseeing and appropriate design. I should say it is the best public course in San Diego which is easy to book. It was a pity that I caught up a big rain. Wish someday can play it again.

Very very nice golf course exceptional greens sand a Course that asks a lot of a player. Love the course. I don’t mind fairways to be a little thin during the fall winter months but when the areas around the green or very short tight lie it penalizes good shots that come up just short or a little off target due to no receding. I’m kind of spoiled with courses that have more grass depth around the greens, so you can really work on those sweet short game shots that’s all

With Daylight Savings we knew 18 might be a challenge. Pace of play was smooth. Had to wait a little on back 9... until we got to 18. There were 3 groups backed up at tee box. As sundown was just a few minutes away, we quit & went to the 19th hole. Were the...Service was excellent. Food came out in record time! Wait staff attentive, even with a full room. A very pretty young lady entertained diners with her guitar & songs.

Overall.. a good day/evening

Played here years many times in the past and loved it. A nice layout, beautiful scenery, and always in great shape. Not so this time. The course looked dried out or maybe it's the type of the grass they switched over to.Not much to stop your ball from rolling out. Short hard fairways. Same situation around the greens. If you like tight lies, you'll love this place. The good news is, the greens are in very nice shape. They were hard,fast, and rolled true.
