Great time
Pleasant short course, in great condition, with helpful staff, great value for money.
Really short, average fairways with good greens
It's shorter then I expected - the West course was fairly crowded so instead we decided to play the East course. It was a Tuesday at 10:30 and fairly crowded with a mix of walkers and riders. There are only 2 tee boxes - no ladies tee. The greens were in really good shap some of the fairways were not and the bunkers were unplayable. The course is fairly wide with no real hazard in the rough. It's a fun little course, be prepared to wait on some holes. You can buy beer and premade sandwiches but that's all I could see.
Oakmont East Walk
I have played this course several times. There are no par 5's. The 4's are fairly easy. The 3's are fairly difficult. It is rarely crowded. I would recommend this course to anyone as long as they understand the above information.
Better than 6 months ago
Tees, greens and fairways in good shape. For an executive 18, a nice challenge. You are able to use all the clubs in your bag.
Not crowded
Beautiful day. The course was pleasant, playable, and very uncrowded. Greens were in good shape, though the fairways were rough and weedy, perhaps the result of the hot, dry, Sonoma summer. Easily walkable and moderately priced, especially if you get an internet deal.
Oakmont East
Excellent 18 hole for walking. Gets hot in the afternoon. Bunkers have been re done, course in great shape.
The course is mediocre
The friendly and helpful staff and the $$ using golf .com make up for the weakness of the course. It's overall experiences is good enough.
Fun LITTLE Course!
Smaller, "Executive" type course. Great for elders and beginners, but plenty fun for anyone. End of May in a very rainy year, and course is lush. Fairways vey nice. Without traffic, even high - handicappers can easily finish in 2-3 hours. Lots of wildlife on the margins, which is kind of surprising since course winds through a residential suburb.
Very Pleasant
Great way to spend an afternoon. Located in the beautiful Valley of the Moon, the course is itself very pleasing to the eyes. Short par fours and long par threes make for a pleasant and sufficiently challenging golf experience for seniors and mid to high handicappers.
Oakmont East Course
We had a fun day !!! The course was decent in spite of all the rain, I loved getting to drive a cart as a special deal and the staff was very friendly !!!!!
Great place to eat and play
They have a great resturant and the course is beautiful
Great time!
The course was in great shape for all of the rain we have been having. A little muddy in spots but so much to get out and play! A real challenge for an executive course!
Sloppy
We have had a ton of rain out here lately. I just went out too soon. Sixty percent of my balls plugged and I only found about half of those. This is a good course and fun to play if you like to hit a drive and end up needing a pitch to place it on the green in 2.
