The course is mediocre
The friendly and helpful staff and the $$ using golf .com make up for the weakness of the course. It's overall experiences is good enough.
Fun LITTLE Course!
Smaller, "Executive" type course. Great for elders and beginners, but plenty fun for anyone. End of May in a very rainy year, and course is lush. Fairways vey nice. Without traffic, even high - handicappers can easily finish in 2-3 hours. Lots of wildlife on the margins, which is kind of surprising since course winds through a residential suburb.
Very Pleasant
Great way to spend an afternoon. Located in the beautiful Valley of the Moon, the course is itself very pleasing to the eyes. Short par fours and long par threes make for a pleasant and sufficiently challenging golf experience for seniors and mid to high handicappers.
Oakmont East Course
We had a fun day !!! The course was decent in spite of all the rain, I loved getting to drive a cart as a special deal and the staff was very friendly !!!!!
Great place to eat and play
They have a great resturant and the course is beautiful
Great time!
The course was in great shape for all of the rain we have been having. A little muddy in spots but so much to get out and play! A real challenge for an executive course!
Sloppy
We have had a ton of rain out here lately. I just went out too soon. Sixty percent of my balls plugged and I only found about half of those. This is a good course and fun to play if you like to hit a drive and end up needing a pitch to place it on the green in 2.
Great value
Oakmont East is a friendly course with some difficulty added. It was built in an older sub division so you must hit straight or be in trouble. Fun course to play on
Thanksgiving morning tound
Not only did we get a great price on the green fees, we were treated with warmth and professional courtesy from beginning to end.
Course was in great condition and pace of play was smooth.
Next year for sure.
The East course.
I have loved this short course for 30 years. But it is getting old. Many areas need more water. Cart paths are terrible. Bunkers not trimmed at all. Greens were fine. Sparrow
Little Gem
We played on a weekday around noon. The course was not crowded and we got around in about 3 hours. Love the layout. Short par 4s and long par 3s. The greens are rather small and challenging. The traps could use a bit more sand. All in all, a wonderful place to play.
Small course but very challenging.
Very slow for short course.
Great local course
Other than getting stuck behind an octogenarian foursome, that seemed to think that they owned the course, on the front nine, (2 hours) we sped thru the back nine in less than an hour. We were warned that there was a group of "Forty-Niners" on the course, little did we realize that they were 1849ers!
Fourth hole, a par 3 took a half an hour backing up the two groups behind is while the group in front is us searched for balls!
Where's the Marshall?
Quality course, for a great price
My friend and I played on Monday, President's Holiday, so was a little slow, but otherwise had a great time. Course is in good shape, but sand bunkers could use some work. Staff were always friendly, and though we played the East course, the snack bar makes a killer golf burger...5 stars for that
Walk on the wild side
The course may be surrounded by homes but has an abundance of wildlife all around. Ducks, rabbits, turkey and deer were out with us today. Great course to work on the short game. Good fairways and smooth greens. I'll be back.
Executive Course
The best executive course in the Bay area. Starting to push the price a bit to high for par 3/ par 4 golf course though. For anyone who wants to play 18 in 3 to 4 hours max - this course is for you!
Nice little coarse
Challengng little coarse everything a golfer could ask for lots of fun
