First timer

My wife and I wanted to play the course so we got paired with two other gentlemen. Both nice guys but the one classified himself as “ball hawk”, he just looked for balls on every hole. Along the water, in the marshes, crazy right. Anyway course conditions were just okay. The fairways were good but the greens had been top dressed last week, so they were still sandy and needed water. This made it very hard to read the putts. You really need to play the course more then once to understand the holes. Definitely worth playing.

REALLY overrated

Some of the worst greens I’ve seen it’s like they put in new greens years ago but never let them take root. Pace of play was AWFUL at least 5-10 min waits for every shot. !! Got paired with two beginners who teed up every single shot as long as it wasn’t on the green. Never saw a cart girl. Food and drink extremely overpriced. Practice area was closed so a temp area was available. Crammed like sardines worst warm up session ever off a torn up patch of dirt. Practice green dry and brittle so it matched the course perfectly. The staff told me it was easily a $150 round golf course and I hate to be the one to bring you all back to reality but it isn’t even worth $60 on a good day. Tee boxes avg at best. From all I was told I was disappointed in the experience. I work at a $160 round golf course and it’s way better than this place.

Played a hot deal for a great price. Hills course is fun and challenging. I played up from my normal tees due to the high course slope. Conditions were very good, but the greens had been recently sanded. They still rolled OK, but not as smooth as the could be. Pace was very slow with the group in front of us holding up everyone behind them. Played in 4:50 with no ranger to be seen.

Best conditioned so far this year

The address on Golfnow doesn't take you directly to the clubhouse. Follow the signs inside the complex, which is quite pretty. Golfnow also didn't inform that the greens were recently sanded. Staff was business -like. Starter didn't recognize receipt for Hills course, paired us with couple playing Jones. We noticed and corrected. Play was slow, 2 1/2 hours for the front. After getting info that the cause was two groups ahead, requested a ranger via the GPS. Never showed, pace didn't increase.

The course was in good shape considering the winter Florida has experienced. The other critiques are the result of high expectations, based on "LPGA International.". Overall, worth the price and would play there again, trying the Jones course.

Disappointed

If it hadn’t been indicated that the greens were sanded, I would not have selected the teatime..

Always fun playing this track

With the LPGA label, I was expecting more. But overall it is a good track. Greens wasn't slick and was very manageable.

Refreshing style of Florida golf

Course conditions were great and greens were fast. The driving range was a bit dry so it was hard to get a feel for how the ball was going to fly that day. Big facility with nice staff
